Have you had the change to see the funny and action-packed film “Ant-Man and The Wasp,”? I have heard such great things about this movie... but I never had the chance to see this movie in the theaters... Gasp! I know, I know! How did I miss this movie!!??
Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” the follow-up to 2015’s “Ant-Man” and the 20th consecutive Marvel Cinematic Universe film to debut at No. 1 opening weekend and ranked in the box office top 10 for six consecutive weeks this summer. Fans can instantly watch the laugh-out-loud superhero adventure digitally right now in HD and 4K Ultra HD™, and on Movies Anywhere; and on Oct. 16th take it home on Blu-ray™ and Blu-ray4K Ultra HD™.
We were super excited to be able to check out this movie, we were huge fans of the original Ant-Man movie, and the addition to The Wasp in the most recent film can only make the movie even more awesome!
I was very fortunate to be able to host a 'Scott Lang's Fun-At-Home Day In”! Ant-Man & the Wasp follows Scott Lang who is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both the superhero Ant-Man and as a father in the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War.” As he struggles to re-balance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he attempts to serve house arrest with his daughter Cassie Lang, bonding through the imaginative ways they invent to entertain themselves at home. We wanted to discover fun, new ways to engage my family at home and help bring Ant-Man & The Wasp to life.
Whether it is a rainy day in or it is a day you just want to hang out together and just have some good old-fashioned fun together! My daughter is growing up so fast, and I want to be sure to slow down and take the time to connect and have fun together. We had a blast with our Scott Lang's Fun-At-Home Day In. We just hung out chatted and really connected. My daughter loved this little Mini Finger Drum set, it is the perfect size for Ant-Man! We had fun drumming along and even hitting the little cymbal, so adorable.
I wanted to flex my Karaoke skills, (well I really don't have any... but it is so much fun to just belt it out and sing!) and have a sing along with my daughter. It does not matter if you can or can not sing, it is just fun to sing and dance! I think I may have embarrassed my daughter a little bit though... But that is ok, it was only the immediate family at this home day in! Another great home day idea is staying in relaxing and watching a great movie. Since we all did not see Ant-Man & The Wasp in the theaters, we could not wait to check out this movie...

In “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices, as both the Super HeroAnt-Man and a father, in the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War.” As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission to rescue Janet van Dyne from the Quantum Realm. Sometimes it can be hard to find a movie that we all can enjoy as a family. My daughter is getting into the picky tween years, where not everything is great... But one movie genre is not out of style (well in her mind) and that is the action packed Marvel films. I knew we would all enjoy watching the movie together. Overall we really enjoyed the film, I especially love the big and small parts. I just get a kick out the special effects, seeing what it is like to be super tiny or super big.
Paul Rudd is as amazing as ever as Scott Lang the everyday guy who is also a superhero. He does such a great time, making this a very likable character. The movie is filled with action and lots of laughs, Ant-Man and the Wasp make a great pair, and an even greater movie! Of course, as with any great Disney/Marvel dvd this is chock full of extras! There are so many great bonus items! I just love seeing the deleted scenes. I wonder what made the director take them out, and would they have changed the pace of the movie?
