****Disney provided an all-expense paid trip for me to cover this great event, all opinions are 100% my own ****
Imagine having a dream, a dream that you kept to yourself, never believing that it could ever come true. Well, I had a dream like that, a dream to walk the red carpet for a Star Wars premiere, but this would always be a secret dream for me would it not? Well, dreams really do come true sometimes, because my friends, I was able to walk the Solo: A Star Wars Story red carpet and pass the cast and crew that made this movie happen.
What to wear? What to wear? I knew I wanted to go for a dark celestial look so I went with a pretty black cocktail dress, and some golden accessories and some cute gold shoes to round out the look. I wanted to dress to impress because this would be the first time a group of influencers like ourselves was invited to a Star Wars premiere like this, it is quite an honor.

I knew this was going to be a special moment that I would remember for the rest of my life, so I made sure to enjoy it and take as many pictures as I could.
The carpet was packed with cast and crew, and the stands were filled with adoring Star Wars fans yelling out for their favorite characters and actors.
The carpet was HUGE, much longer than I have ever experienced before. It went on and on (not that I am complaining, I loved it!) there was even a Millennium Falcon on the carpet, yes there really was!
We passed by a very cool Nissan car all decked out in Star Wars theming, this was so popular that even the celebrities were lining up to take a picture with the car and check it out inside.
Before I knew it I was almost at the entrance of the Dolby theater, ready to go in a see the movie I have been waiting for years to see... But before I headed in I turned around and enjoyed the splendor for just another moment and smiled... Now it was time to see the film! So how was the movie you ask? Well, I will have a spoiler-free movie review up soon. All I can say is be sure to pre-order your tickets now!
But when the movie ended the night was not over yet, we had another amazing surprise, yes another first-time invite, we were invited to the movie after party! Now we were really going to rub elbows with the stars! I could not wait to see who was going to be there, the possibilities were endless!
The party was filled with press, cast, crew, and celebrity fans. Of course, there were food and drinks, but with so much going on I found it hard to enjoy those (ok I admit I did try some things, they were amazing!) I just had a blast walking around and celebrity watching.
My friend Kira from Afropolitan Mom and I traveled to the party and had fun meeting all sorts of folks together. We were able to meet some great cast members, including Joonas Suotamo, he was Chewbacca in the film, he was so tall! I felt like a miniature person next to him, but he was very gracious and really a sweetheart.
The dazzling Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who played L3-37 was so beautiful in person, her white dress was a real show stopper!
I also met past Star Wars alumnae, Ray Park (Darth Maul) he was super sweet. Ready and willing to take a photo with fans.
And Star Wars super fans of the celebrity kind where there as well including, Chris Hardwick, I a such a fan of his and he too is a big fan of Disney and us Disney fans need to stick together!
This was such a spectacular night, something I will never forget, a real bucket list item that is for sure. Even as I type this post, I still really can't believe that I was there, I still have to pinch myself!
