Check it out, Hasbro Gaming 2018 Championships April 28th-29th in Philly!

Did you know that there are big happenings in the gaming world going on this weekend, in Philly? There are more than 200 SCRABBLE players and 60 Rubik’s© players from across North America will compete at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia as part of the annual Hasbro Gaming Championships. Participants ages 8 to 18 will put their extraordinary skills to the test in the ultimate word and puzzle scrambling competitions. 

This is the first year that RUBIK’s© players will be invited to attend the annual event, which will bring a whole new element of competition to the playing field. More than 30 Philadelphia-area students will be participating in the North American competition. To increase the excitement, last year’s SCRABBLE Division champion, Will Anderson, will return as a guest host. 

Participants have spent months training and competing for their chance to take home the title. This year’s winning SCRABBLE team will once again walk away with a $10,000 grand prize. The winners of each RUBIK’s© division will also go home with a cash prize.

WHAT: The 2018 Hasbro Gaming Championships are an annual competition which brings SCRABBLE and RUBIK’s players
