The kids are back
to school and the school year in full
swing, one of the biggest questions Kleenex always gets is how to combat
illnesses in schools – especially with the school year restarting recently. So
when Kleenex® brand conducted a study around kids and illness, I wanted to
share what their findings were with you all. As the weather gets cooler, that
means cold and flu season is just around the corner. Kids – and their parents –
are heavily impacted, particularly in the beginning months of school. According
to over 500 parents and caregivers:
· 97% said their
child will get sick at some point during the school year with
winter, changing seasons, and the beginning of the year the prime sick times.
o One in four
parents (26%) say their child is most likely to get a cold/flu at the beginning
of the school year while two in three (65%) say is it likely during the winter
months at school.
· Three-quarters
(77%) of parents agree that they’ve gotten a cold or the flu after their kid
brought it home from school.
· Most parents (89%)
say their child has contracted a cold from school followed up by three in five
parents (59%) saying their child has contracted the flu from school.
No matter what,
these superstar parents are prepared:
· 91% say they keep
tissues in their house should their kid get sick.
o Kleenex® Cool
Touch is ready to save the day the next time sickness hits. Cooling on contact,
this tissue not only soothes a sore nose and prevents redness, but it provides
a bit of excitement for kids right out of the box. They’ll definitely want to
use these again!
I have used Cool
Touch tissues in the past, and I can see why they would be a big help for those
sick days. I love to cool sensation, it cools, and it is not too pungent. Have
you used Cool Touch tissues? What did you think of them?
