Ah The Lion King one of my most favorite Disney movies of all time… It is a story of love and loss and family a classic movie that we all love. For me The Lion King holds a special place in my heart this is one of the very first movies my boyfriend (now husband) and I ever saw together. It brings back great memories of our time together and now I cannot believe it is now so many years later and Disney’s The Lion King is headed to the Walt Disney Signature Collection, with the special Circle of Life Edition on Blu-ray Aug. 29^th! We were very fortunate to be able to check out this grand Circle of Life Lion King edition with my family and we have to say this movie is as amazing as ever! The movie as you know is filled with laughs and tears  (the part with Simba and his dad, on come on here come the water works!) and some more laughs and tears. Everything that is needed to make you really feel for a movie, and be moved by its greatness. 
          
The film is filled with breathtaking animation and fantastic Academy Award® winning music the winner in 1994: Best Original Score and Best Original Song, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight “is a song everyone knows and loves from the movie, I know I sure do, but who can forget the great song Hakuna Matata… What a wonderful phrase… I love that I can share a movie that I saw as a young adult with my daughter and my little nieces and nephews. We all enjoyed following along with our pals Simba, Nala Timon and Pumba it was just like old times for me.

Our favorites from the bonuses was that this was a sing along version, because who doesn’t love to sing along with classic Disney songs, and now you are encouraged to watch and sig, great fun for the family. We also loved watching The Recording Sessions, this gave us a glimpse into rare footage of the actors recording their roles, matched with the final animation. 
                
It was neat to see the actors voicing the character you have enjoyed for years, putting a real face to the character if you will… This will make an amazing addition to your Disney movie collection library to enjoy for years to come. “The Lion King” Roars to Its Rightful Place in the Walt Disney Signature Collection  on Digital Aug. 15 and on Blu-ray™ Aug. 29.
