When I was a kid growing up and wanted a snack, I would
stand in front of my refrigerator door and look for something. What did I hear
from my parents? You’re letting all the cold air out! Shut the door! This is
back in the early 80’s, energy efficient products weren’t on our radar, sleek
and modern meant you had the avocado green fridge to match your stove. Not
exactly cutting edge.
Fast forward a couple of decades and what I had always
wished for when I was a kid is finally here! The LG InstaView Refrigerator is the refrigerator I always hoped to have and it is available
at Best Buy. Why is the InstaView so
different? Just by simply knocking two times on the right side door, the glass
panel will illuminate allowing you to see inside the easy access compartment
without you ever having to open the door. Back in my day when someone said
knock two times they were talking about a Tony Orlando song….not seeing what
you had to snack on!
What the easy access compartment allows you to do is keep
the most popular and used items in your refrigerator at your fingertips. The
door in door feature allows you to “Knock
twice” to illuminate the compartment and you can just simply grab
what you need because of the clever door in door feature. This is known as the
ColdSaver panel, what it does is it reduces cold air loss and extends the
freshness of your food.
As with most of our home appliances now the LG
InstaView is energy efficient, we all love to be more efficient and see those
energy bills drop and not go up. The ColdSaver panel is a big reason why this
refrigerator is so efficient, it makes us efficient at choosing what we want. And who would not like to save $ on energy
cost? I know I sure would love to save some cash.
Avocado green and harvest gold colored refrigerators were the norms of my youth,
they were popular….why, I’ll never know. Sleek and sophisticated is the new
norm, and the LG InstaView is a sleek stainless steel, and before for starting
to worry the InstaView resists fingerprints and is smudge free! Plus with up to
30 cubic feet of storage area, the InstaView can handle as much food as your

I love that it isn't always view able, I may not have the most organized fridge to show off. This would be so handy for making up the grocery list.
Stainless Steel is my favorite look for refrigerators and ovens. I really love how far technology has taken even refrigerators these days. The coolsaver panel is such a great idea!
I want one of these LG refrigerators so bad! My fridge is probably about 10-15 years old so I'd say it's time for a new fancier one!
Our appliances are dying a slow death, so I've been researching our options. This fridge is seriously cool! I love that you can see what's inside without having to let the cool air out.
What a cool feature! You can see inside when you NEED to but don't have to have it visible all the time!
I really need a new refrigerator soon. Mine is about 10 years old and I don't have enough room. I would love this one!
