Well I sure was, and I have to say I miss coloring, it was so much fun back in the old days. I am so happy there is this adult coloring book movement, an excuse to color.. sign me up! As you may know the adult coloring books are a bit more of a challenge (and that is a good thing) but still as fun as the coloring days you remember from your childhood. The book is filled with great colorful characters that will really get your creative juices flowing! I just love that there are plenty of my favorite characters to color including my most favorite Bunsen and Beaker up to their zany experiments of course!

Do you love the movie Aladdin? This Disney classic is filled with the best characters and the most wondrous musical score. I am a huge fan of anything Aladdin from the movie to the soundtrack to the books related to the movie to the stage shows. I simply adored the Disneyland stage show when it was still showing in the park. Oh the pageantry and splendor, that amazing show will surely be missed. This was an amazing book that really showed you all you could ever want to know about this Broadway stage show. The photography in the book is astounding, I wish I could take photos like those! This is a must for any Aladdin fan, this will take you on a journey and you will surely be planning to see this on stage too. I have to see this live now, I am sure it will be even more spectacular than the Disney park stage show, and after reading this book, it really shows you how much goes into making this show perfect, and I would love to see this for myself in person. Are you a fan of the story of Sleeping Beauty? This classic has been around for ages. This was a favorite of my grandmothers as a child, my mother and myself, this story was always a magical bedtime story for each of us as children. I loved this story so much that I wanted to name my daughter Aurora, but I did not win out on that option, unfortunately.

The classic story we all know and love is headed back to the book shelves in a slightly reimagined version. This wonderfully illustrated book takes you into the world of Sleeping Beauty. My niece could not get enough of this book and had me read it to her again and again. She especially loved that Sleeping Beauty had darker hair like hers not every Sleeping Beauty needs to be blond, and I like that this is not. This was a lovely book, that I am sure little ones would love to have this read to them, and early readers would love to read themselves.
