Enjoy all that Hershey’s Chocolate World has to offer, make your own chocolate bar, enjoy a chocolate tasting and so much more! #HersheyPA #SweetestMoms

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Can you believe that it is already mid-November? Time has just been flying by! Before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas, time will go by in a flash! We all seem to be out there shopping and getting ready for the holidays already. Why not take the time to get away for just a bit and enjoy some chocolate fun at Hershey’s Chocolate World? This fun place is located outside of Hersheypark and is tons of fun for the whole family. No you don’t have to visit Hersheypark when visiting Hershey's Chocolate World, this attraction/shop is its own experience entirely.
We recently visited Chocolate World and it is better than ever! Chocolate World is now much more than just a store and a factory tour ride like it was when I was a little girl. Now it is a destination itself. With tons of fun activities and of course the tour and the great shopping is still there but now a visit to Chocolate World can be a full day event!
Chocolate world gives you a chance to experience the world of chocolate in ways you have never had. Have you ever wanted to make your own chocolate bar? You know, make it just the way you like it? Well at Chocolate World, you can make your own bar! To make your dream bar, you can choose the type of chocolate then you can choose up to 6 fillings for your bar. Your chocolate masterpiece would not be complete without a personally designed wrapper, would you like to add your name, or a special saying? Well you can, because this is your bar!
Create Your Own Candy Bar - Ever wonder what kind of candy bar you'd create? Well, here's your chance to find out. Come immerse yourself in an authentic HERSHEY'S factory experience. Choose your ingredients.
Design your own wrapper. Chances are, you'll create more than just a candy bar – you'll create some unforgettable family memories! $19.95 per person. Children ages 2 and under are free if they are not creating a candy bar. Children ages 8 and under who are creating a candy bar must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket.

My family and I had a great time making our own chocolate bars, we thought it was fun to dress up like we worked in the factories, from the apron to the hairnets, which was particularly funny since my husband had to wear one on his face, that gave my daughter and I a good chuckle.
I went with a classic add ins, chocolate cookies because there is nothing wrong with chocolate on top of chocolate, and pretzels!  My daughter loved being creative and designing her wrapper, and wanted to add just as much as she possibly could to her bar... Kids! My husband wanted to make a Star Wars wrapper, but he came up with the next best thing his own creation.
Speaking of chocolate… Would you like to learn more about where it comes from and how to get the most out of your tasting of chocolate? Well you are going to the Chocolate Tasting Experience at Chocolate World.
Chocolate Tasting Experience - Immerse yourself in the flavorful world of chocolate in our tasting experience! Filled with the sights, sounds and smells of chocolate, Hershey’s tasting experts show you how to engage all senses to taste chocolates – from milk to dark and varieties in between. $10.95 Adult (13-61),  $7.95 Child (3-12), FREE Child (0-2).
We all love chocolate (well most of us right?) we are personally huge fans of milk chocolate. Why milk chocolate, well because that is what we grew up eating and that is what we are used to. For this experience we got to step a little bit out of our comfort zone (well not really a uncomfortable experience, it is chocolate after all) and try types of chocolate that are new to us all.

We were able to try rich deep chocolates, and we were told the best ways to experience the flavors in our mouth. I really enjoyed our instructor, very nice and informative, (why can’t all lessons everywhere include chocolate?) and I really got to appreciate the new to us flavors.

Ready to take a break and have a nice meal, well Chocolate World has more than just chocolate, they have an amazing food court that has everything from salads to hot soups and sandwiches.
My daughter and I enjoyed a Chocolate BBQ sauce pulled pork pizza, my husband had a holiday turkey & cranberry wrap. The food was fresh and delicious. Of course there are plenty of fresh baked Hershey themed treats here as well, from decadent brownies, to sweet cupcakes to rich fudge. Ahhh a chocolate lovers dream.
Make sure to take the time to visit the Chocolate Tour with its new singing cows, state-of-the-art technology, brand new theme song and (as always) a FREE Hershey's product sample! This free tour ride though is fun and informative and it always ends with a sweet treat. Today we were treated to a sampling of a Hershey bar. Of course it was delicious!
This ride and experience is always a good time, but I have to admit I really miss the old theme song… “It’s the milk chocolate…” I know things have to grow and change for the better, but that song is just a classic. It reminds me of the great times I had with my family on this ride for many many years. Visiting Chocolate World has been a trading in my family ever since I was a little girl, I have seen the place grow and get better and better, and now I enjoy going again and again with my family.
While you are in Chocolate World be sure to visit the large house that is fully made from Hershey's Chocolate and confectionary products. You can also visit Santa here too!
If you would like to shop for that special chocolate fan on your holiday list, Chocolate World has you covered  there are plenty of amazing gifts you can pick up for the youngest chocolate lover to the oldest on your list.
From cool sweatshirts, to stuffed Hershey characters they have all you could ever want. Would you like a pair of high quality earrings or a pendant shaped like your favorite chocolate?
Of course they have the real thing…. Chocolate on sale, and plenty of it.  Visit the Hershey's largest candy store and explore and check out all of the goodies!

They have it all, Giant 5lb (yes 5lbs!) Hershey Bars, to personalized bars to single bars of all of your favorites. I love to pick up the harder to find flavors like the Zero bar, and 5th Avenue and Zagnut bars for me they are blasts from the past and they are plentiful at Chocolate World. There are plenty of sugar free Hershey treats, as well as the classic bars you love, from Reese’s, to Kit Kat’s and everything in between.

How fun! I've heard of Chocolate World, but I've never been. My kiddos would love to make their own chocolate bar.
