In today’s day and age we’re all trying to go a little easier on the environment. It’s important to be responsible and leave this planet in better shape for future generations. I know my family is trying to be better, our electric provider lets us know each month how much power we used compared to our neighbors and I was appalled at how wasteful we are! Out of 100 neighbors we’re constantly in the 90’s and that’s costing us money and it’s costing the environment. 

Our refrigerator and dryer and old and I know that they’re not the best when it comes to being energy efficient. But something I didn’t realize was our sound bar! With the television being on as much as it is I shouldn’t be surprised at that, but I am! We’re taking steps to get better appliances to help everything, from the environment to our wallets. That savings is enough to help power 70,538 houses for a year! It’s amazing how much we can save the Earth by just being a little more conscientious.

I didn’t realize that sound bars wasted as much energy as they do, newer ENERGY STAR® certified sound bars are 50% more efficient than older models, combine that with an Energy Star certified television and watch that number go up! ENERGY STAR® dryers use 20% less energy than conventional models without sacrificing features of performance.
