I was invited to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration conference. I paid a conference fee to attend. I received a discounted rate for my stay. All opinions are my own. I have not been compensated or asked to post about Disney .
We ended our Disney Social Media Mom's excursion on Mother's Day with a wonderful breakfast and a treat an
impromptu concert by Alex G singing an assortment of Disney tunes to
entertain us and inspire us while we ate.

Our whirlwind weekend was wrapping us nicely, good food, good company, good times, and I even got a delicious box of chocolates at the end! What more could I ask for?

I was happy to see what my husband and daughter drew on their squares, (drawn to celebrate Disney's Dream Big Princess campaign) Friday morning, my husband assured me that I'd be able to find his square without any problem (I did find it easily...Boba Fett's helmet with Mickey ears.)
I wasn't shocked, I was surprised at how well he drew that with just crayons! My daughter went with a blue Minnie head, she was sure I'd find hers too.....I did with a little help from my husband. Sometimes even mom's need an assist!
After breakfast, we had a few hours to
spend in Epcot before we had to leave and decided to use our time to
take in the Flower and Garden festival and see the sights and eat the
food. We've been to Flower & Garden a few times before since it
always ran for the first two weeks of Star Wars Weekends and we're
happy to see it grow and grow.
It's a great way to try new food with
half the crowds of the Food & Wine Festival, if you want less
crowds and the same good food than Flower & Garden is for you.
Since we were quite full we only had a couple of things the Flan from
Mexico and the Candied Strawberries from China.
Both we're FANTASTIC.
I wish we had a little more time and a little more room in our
stomachs, but there is always next year! We took our time walking
around the World Showcase and just soaked up the atmosphere, we love
meandering around the World Showcase and wandering in and out of the
shops and just enjoying Epcot.
We have to hit Japan so I can look at
all the crazy treats they have, I can't tell you how many drinks and
snacks I've purchased over the years but Mitsukoshi is my go to shop!
We always have to go into Italy just so my husband can crack his
jokes about the Ferrari backpacks they have....these backpacks are
the Ferrari's of backpacks... I'm glad he has a day job. Just walking
past Germany and smelling the hotdogs is enough to drive you mad, if
you're hungry that's great, but when you're full and you smell those
wonderful smells....it's torturous. In and out of everywhere, just
enjoying Mother's Day and time with my family. It was a great way to
spend our last few hours in the parks.
But before we made our way back to the
hotel to check out and head to MCO, we made one last pit stop because
my daughter requested it...Club Cool. The girl loves a free sample,
she gets it honestly. She was drinking the Beverly and not flinching,
she actually said it wasn't that bad and dared me to drink a full
cup, my husband chuckled and passed saying he's in the full cup club
(I dared him years ago and he obliged), I don't know how anyone can
consider this a tasty drink.
I told her I'd take a sip but wouldn't
be partaking in the full cup challenge, it was awful and that's
putting it nicely. While the flavors today aren't as good as they
used to be, we still love going to Club Cool and getting samples and
watching first timers trying the Beverly and going into spastic shock
from it. We left Club Cool and bid farewell to Epcot (not a long
goodbye, we'll be back in August) and made our way back to the Beach
Club.
We like the walk from the International Gateway to the Beach
Club, it's a quick walk and makes staying at the
Beach/Yacht/Boardwalk area a really nice area to stay in. This
amazing adventure was another adventure that only Disney can provide.
Memories can be made anywhere but they seem to be a little more
special when they're made in Disney World.
