I learned something quickly when I became a mother years ago, kids get sick and usually not at convenient times. As a baby my daughter was relatively cold free, she had sniffles and things like that but nothing really awful. I wasn’t prepared for what came next when she actually got to school and was around other germ incubators, kids are full of germs and no matter how many times you say don’t touch that….or that….and stay away from that!
They love to spread the wealth around! You learn quickly what works well and what the kids will actually take without putting up a fight because medicine is yucky! Kids….they don’t realize that the “yucky” medicine is better now than when their parents were their age, and that you’d really rather have a cold than take a spoonful of medicine? I always try to be one step ahead of an illness, sometimes your caught unprepared and so we jet off to the nearest Target to grab something to help get the kid back on her feet because sometimes life can’t be interrupted by a cold.
There is a reason why we tend to gravitate towards certain medicines, they have a proven track record and they get things done. You want the right bullets in your gun when you’re staring down a cold, you don’t want to fire off blanks when you can obliterate that cold quickly. Medicine from the Pfizer Pediatric Platform like Infant’s and Children’s Advil®(used a ton of it when we were going through the teething stage), Children’s Robitussin® (nothing is worse than a cough, a bad cough will make it impossible to get the rest you need to get better and Robitussin® provides cough control to make life a little easier), and Children’s Dimetapp® (this killed yucky medicine forever, Dimetapp® tastes great and helps neutralize colds and their symptoms.)
Ease those aches and pains, while reducing a child’s fever fast with Children’s Advil®, a great solution for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. There’s also Infant's Advil® White Grape, which provides unsurpassed fever relief with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.
Formulated just for kids, Children's Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack (Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough) non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves coughs and runny noses to help kids get the rest they need. All in a great tasting grape flavor, Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough tackles a child’s most bothersome stuffy and runny noses, all while working to relieve cough.

I There are a variety of things we face as parents when it comes to kid’s not feeling well, teething, colds, stomach aches are just a few things kids are hit with and we need to be able to handle the issues when our little one’s come calling for help. We’ve been hit with the cold bug while on vacation and I try to make sure we have medicine for every situation but sometimes you just get caught off guard, we’ve made many a trip to Target in unfamiliar cities to get not just kid versions of these great cold fighting drugs but their adult counterparts as well. My daughter were sick on our last trip to California, she were meandering around the streets of San Francisco in a sickly fog because the trip wasn’t cheap and it was vacation. Sick just got real.™!
I stopped into a Target and picked up Dimetapp ® liquid and within a day she was feeling more like herself, and thankfully our vacation wasn’t ruined. If I could offer you a tip for travel, make sure to bring medicine you might need, it is best to be prepared... you just never know?. Don’t let colds and illnesses get in the way of life, fight back with Pfizer Pediatric Platform products. They’ll provide the right tools for the right job.
