Are you a chocolate fan? I am a bit of a chocoholic myself,
chocolate is my favorite treat of all time. Well it is your week chocolate fan
out there, this week from March 21-27 is American Chocolate Week! I never knew
there was such a week. Well you do not have to convince me, I am willing to
celebrate chocolate this week, enjoying chocolate cake, chocolate bars and just
about any chocolate treat. For chocolate week I was able to try out a new
amazing chocolate item that I am sure you all will love, Bauli Chocolate Croissants! Here is a little more information about Bauli from the website:
Bauli is the authentic
Italian cake maker since 1922. Making holiday cakes and pastries for over 80
years using only the highest quality ingredients. Bauli prides itself in having
combined the skill of homemade recipes with high technology to bring authentic
Italian baked goods and holiday products to your table. With respect for
traditions and ancient recipes, Bauli products are oven baked and made with no
preservatives, thorough a process of natural leavening. The Bauli family’s
guiding principle has always been a desire for excellence.
The idea of chocolate croissants, is intriguing the thought
of soft croissants filled with a delicate
chocolate filling this must be amazing right? Well after trying the Bauli chocolate
croissants for the first time recently I have to admit they were addicting and delicious.
My daughter could not wait to try out the mini croissants they were small and
full of flavor and at just 50 calories a pop, these snacks are guilt-free and
made for sharing...although you might not want to! You may wonder how Bauli can
keep croissants soft and package them? Well according to Bauli:
“The Bauli
croissants are made using a "mother dough." Water and flour are
progressively added to this nucleus to create a croissant dough with natural
yeast instead of chemical additives, allowing it to rise naturally. After 18
hours of natural leavening, the croissants are soft and flavorful with a
delicious aroma. They also stay fresh for much longer than most bread or cakes,
without any added preservatives.”
For all of the chocolate lovers who enjoy this treat
regularly, try celebrating with something other than your average candy bar or
cupcake. Bauli Chocolate Mini Croissants are made in a REAL oven with no
preservatives and naturally leavened dough. There are also Vanilla Custard and Cherry
Jelly flavors of Bauli croissants to try as well, and I am sure they are just
as delicious! Why not celebrate American Chocolate Week March 21-27, by picking
up a delicious chocolate treat from Bauli at your local supermarket.
