A visit to Hershey PA is like no other, from the chocolate named streets to the chocolate smell in the air visiting is a chocolate lovers dream! The quaint town of Hershey has the classic HersheyPark is all dressed up for the holidays, the HersheyPark Christmas Candylane is a must do for the family. You visited the park, rode the rides and met Santa, now what to do? What else is there to do in Hershey? Well there are lots of things to do, there is some great family fun waiting for you in Hershey!
Looking to take it easy and see a holiday show? Well The Hershey Lodge has just what you are looking for, A Chocolate Avenue Christmas! This Broadway-style show is filled with dancing and singing. All of your favorite carols and holiday tunes are in this great show.
This dinner theater is a great time to gather with your family and friends and just enjoy the sounds of the season.  I did mention dinner.. that would be the great three-course themed Christmas dinner, this comes with the show. The meal was amazing from the lunch meat and cheese appetizer, the rolls with chocolate butter (chocolate butter??!!) to the stuffed chicken, to the amazing chocolate cake and everything in-between.
I enjoyed this amazing show, it brought me back to my favorite memories of Christmas, and they even sang my most favorite Christmas song, I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!  The A Chocolate Avenue Christmas show is conveniently located in The Hershey Lodge, and there are shows on select dates running now through December 27th, you can enjoy a Matinee reception, doors open at 11:30 AM or a Dinner reception, doors open at 5:30 PM.  This show would be great for the whole family, from kids to the grandparents, all will find something they love with A Chocolate Avenue Christmas.
Ever wonder about the Hershey the town itself. How it came to be and how your favorite chocolate got its start? Be sure to check out the fun and informative Hershey Trolley Works trolley tour of the town to Hershey PA. You will learn the inspiring story of Hershey, how it came about and how chocolate made the town of Hershey PA.  We passed by historic places such as the home of Milton S. Hershey, the man who gave us the sweet milk chocolate we all know and love. On the tour we also got to peek at the birthplace of my most favorite chocolate treat of all time, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, this divine treat was created in the basement in a house in Hershey, by Harry Burnett "H. B." Reese.. This man was a genius with chocolate and peanut butter!
Our conductor was friendly and knowledgeable and really loved his job and sharing the history of Hershey PA. Of course we also got chocolate to enjoy while riding on the tour, it is Chocolate & History Trolley after all!  Hershey Trolley Works offers a variety of great trolley rides, throughout the year they have a Chocolate & History Trolley, a  Seasonal Trolley  and even a Sweet Lights Trolley! This attraction is 75 minutes long. Trolley tours board ten minutes in advance at the depot outside the main entrance of Hershey's Chocolate World rain or shine. Seating is limited; purchase tickets early.

Are you ready for some action? Check out some Hershey Bears hockey at The Giant Center . This fast paced game has a the fun and energetic atmosphere, you get sucked in and can’t help but enjoy the game.   I was able to see a game between The Hershey bears and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Philadelphia Flyers AHL affiliate. I have to say I was a bit torn on who I should root for the home team’s affiliate or the Bears.. Hmm? Well I decided on rooting for them both and just enjoying my time friends and the great hockey.
The Giant Center is immense! This was a great place to watch hockey without a bad seat in the place. Ready for some food to go along with the game? Well there is plenty from burgers to steak sandwiches and so much more the delicious food will make your hockey game even more enjoyable.  Be sure to bring your friends and get your tickets to see Hershey Bears hockey, it is a blast!
What an exciting day! You could see a show take a tour then have fun at an exciting hockey game in Hershey PA. What to do next? Well by this time after all of the Hershey adventure and fun, I would suggest taking it easy and experiencing a spa like you have never seen, the Chocolate Spa, at the hotel Hershey. A relaxing spa is the best way to relax after a busy vacation. I will have more to share with you soon about this fantastic, luxurious Spa at the Hotel Hershey, stay tuned!
