Do you have a new year’s resolution to eat better to exercise
more? What if I told you there is a devise that works with your phone and helps
you keep track of the healthier lifestyle you are looking for? You are going to
love the new Microsoft Band 2. We just
returned home from a few days in Disney World prior to Christmas. While away we
tend to just do whatever, like eat cupcakes for dinner....and breakfast....and
lunch. It's a popular belief that calories on vacation don't count.
They do
count, and the fact that your pants are now a little snugger will let you know
that! This trip I had something that helped keep things in check, something
that let me know just how many of those cupcakes I was burning off by walking
around the Magic Kingdom. The Microsoft Band 2 is an amazing gadget that keeps you clued in on your health and it tells time
to boot!
The Microsoft Band works in conjunction with your smart phone, you pair the band to your phone and the with the help of the Microsoft Health app, you'll be all set to help get yourself in gear. This band is amazing, the sensors are so in-tune with everything it's like having a doctor and a personal trainer wrapped around your wrist. I paired the band with my Lumia phone (it's a Windows 10 phone) and the experience was amazing. I could not just track my health, but I could send and receive texts, check my mail and make calls on the band and you have full access to Cortana via the band.
I know we're at that point in the year where we all make
resolutions to get into better shape and take care of ourselves. It's tough to
do it alone, and if you don't have a way of keeping tabs on yourself, you'll be
more likely to just fall back into all the traps that led you to not being
where you'd like to be health wise. When we would sit down to lunch or dinner I
was always checking my steps taken (several thousand by mid-morning and well
into the 10k plus by days end) and I was blowing past my daily goals by the
early afternoon, it was becoming a challenge to walk a little more every day to
beat the prior days steps. It's just that kind of motivation that keeps you
going, it makes moving easier, I know it's hard to get started but once you do
you won't want to stop.
Count your steps, and calories, check your heart rate,
improve your sleep, get help with working out, check emails, send and receive
texts, and so much more. The Microsoft Band is an amazing device to help you
get a hold of your health and life and it's all wrapped up in a stylish band
that feels great and looks great. Make the resolution to get in better health
and keep it, get a Microsoft Band to help you achieve your goals and keep you
motivated to keep moving forward. You'll be happy you did.

I have heard lots of great things about them. My doctor even said they were great just for the sleep tracking function.
I have been wanting to check out this band. I have tried several other bands, but not the Microsoft. It looks good!
The last fitness band I used would pair to my computer. I love that the microsoft band pairs with the phone! I am around my phone a lot more often then my computer! What a great way to keep track of your fitness and health!
That's really neat. I love that it keeps track of your heart rate too!
