Zoe’s Kitchen amazing, fresh Mediterranean meals the whole family will love!

With the holiday’s approaching you might be wanting to have a party for your family and friends, it is fun to get together with those closest to us and have a good time enjoying each other’s company. The part that stinks is planning the menu, prepping the food, and then cooking it. It’s time consuming, stressful, and it will take away time that you’ll want to be spending with your guests. Enter Zoe’s Kitchen.
We were lucky enough to have Zoe’s cater a little get together we had this past weekend to watch the Eagles play (lose), the game stunk, but the food made up for it and then some! We had the Home Team Celebration and everyone and I mean everyone (especially my husband) raved about the food. They did it with good reason….it was delicious!
With the Team Celebration package we received: chicken and steak kabobs, chicken and steak roll-ups, grilled potato salad, marinated slaw, hummus, pimento cheese, and pita bread for dipping. This package is $114.99 (plus shipping $20 to $30 depending on distance) and it feeds up to 10 people. This was a feast, it covered our entire kitchen table and looked like a million dollars.

Prior to receiving your order you can go to Zoe’s site and download a PDF that allows you to print out name place cards for the food, and fun pennants and more. The professional printables are  from The Tomcat Studios, are all you need to make your celebration even more festive! It looked so professional and made it easy for everyone to know exactly what they were eating.
If we didn’t have those cards my husband was telling everyone you’ve got to try this and that by name…if you don’t have a printer at home my husband is available, he’ll work for the chicken wraps. But the most important thing with catering is the food and the taste of it. This statement is 100% factual and the Gods honest truth, believe me when I tell you that this food was amazingly delicious.

We’ll start with the dips the hummus and the pimento cheese along with the pita triangles for dipping. The hummus was a hit with my father in law who up until yesterday never had hummus. He kept going back for it and eventually used it on the steak and chicken wraps.

The hummus was creamy and delicious and had a really nice flavor. It was the opposite of the pimento cheese, the pimento cheese was all about texture and spice. This was another hit, people would bit into the pita and say “ooh!” They didn’t expect that nice little spice kick the pimento had. My husband claimed eminent domain over the pimento cheese.

Moving along to the main attractions the kabobs, wraps, and sides. The wraps were spilt between chicken (feta, tomatoes, caramelized onions,) and the steak (sliced tri-tip, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and caramelized onions,) both wonderful and both made even more interesting with the addition of the fresh salsa for the chicken and the steak had a dipping sauce as well that was like a fresh version of ranch, so well thought out and worked well with the wraps.
The feta with the chicken was a pairing I would have never thought of but it worked fantastically!  Then we had the kabobs both chicken and steak with onions, tomatoes, and peppers. I feel like I’m a broken record but this was another hit. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned properly. Not a single person asked for either salt or pepper, and from watching enough Food Network I know why because the food was properly seasoned while being cooked. I can’t rave enough about the flavor or quality of the food from Zoe’s Kitchen.
I don’t want to forget about the sides either, they might be sides but they’re not after thoughts! The grilled potato salad and the marinated slaw. This was the first time I’ve ever had potato salad that was an oil and vinegar base. Normally we go with mayo, after eating it with the oil and vinegar, I think we’re making the switch. The flavors were just so complimentary to each other, they didn’t mask the potato they enhanced it.
The marinated slaw, again, not a mayo based slaw because it was marinated in a light vinaigrette with scallions and feta cheese. I have to admit I’m a fan of feta cheese now, it works so well with so many things that I’m going to steal this idea from Zoe’s and use it in my daily cooking when I can.

With holiday parties fast approaching let Zoe’s do the work for you, the food was wonderful, it was delivered hot and ready, and it takes the stress out of this stressful time of year. Stay out of your kitchen and use Zoe’s instead!

That looks like a nice party spread! It's great that they even make it easy to identify the food with the themed printables, that's very convenient.
