Smile, Laugh A Lot, & Give Thanks. Simple credos that have been inspired by St. Jude patients and their families. It's November and that means that Kmart.com/StJude is introducing this years campaign for St. Jude. This year you will see “Smile, Laugh A Lot, & Give Thanks” emblazoned in lime green on a stylish gray knit cap (while supplies last and one size fits most people ages 9+.) And it's a way to show support for a place that is there for these families to provide comfort and caring in a time of need.

Since 2006 Kmart has raised more than 76 million dollars to help St. Jude, their patients and families. With a small donation of 5 dollars (St. Jude gets a dollar from every cap sold) you get a really cool knit cap that not only keeps your head warm in the winter but will warm your heart knowing that you're helping kids that need your help and support. You'll be hard pressed this day and age to not be affected by cancer in some way, we all know people that have been hit by this awful disease so we should all do what we can to help eradicate cancer.

              

Cancer is tough to deal with as an adult, imagine how hard it is to deal with as a child. Imagine the stress it causes not only the children, but their families as well. St. Jude is there to help, comfort and support these children and their families, but help isn't free and isn't cheap. We need to do what we can to help and by donating 5 dollars you'll get a really cool cap and you'll be helping many. This is the time of year that we like to come together and celebrate with family, we celebrate that we're happy and healthy.

For those families who aren't so lucky we need to make sure we take care of them as well. Kmart.com/StJude is doing a noble job of helping raise awareness and money for St. Jude and I'm glad to be able to help any way I can. No donation is too small or not enough, do what you can, give what you can. It's all appreciated.
