The Longest Ride, a great girls night or date night movie! #TheLongestRide #InsidersLongestRide

Summer is in full swing and with it comes trips, camp, sports and nonstop on the go action. Sure it is fun for the kids and it is fun for me too, to a point. As a working mom my days and nights are just busy and always on, it can get to you after a bit. One think I love to do, to slow down life a bit and have some relaxing me time is to make sure I take the time to have a date night with my husband. It is a great time to just relax and reconnect with my husband without the kids just us two.

Could you use break from the busy life of a mom, a time to just sit back and enjoy the company of your significant other? Sometimes getting a sitter and going out on a date night can be all but impossible, but that does not mean that you can not have a nice romantic date night at home... I fall into the line of never having the time for a date night with my husband. I know that I have to make the time, and this past weekend my husband and I had a fun and romantic home date night.

Our date night was filled with popcorn and snacks from, Target. With the right movie, even a at home snack & movie date night can be very romantic. The Longest Ride, was a wonderful book about current and past love… Can love win out? Even thorough of the troubles will love win? This went from a wonderful book to an amazing movie starring  Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson.  For me this was one of the best book to movie adaptions for Nicholas Sparks, it worked well and flowed from the book to the screen with ease. This is one of my favorites due to the twist at the end, I won’t spoil it for you all, but it is a pretty cool ending. Our movie night pack also included a classic book from Nicholas Sparks, The Choice also available from Target!
