Becoming a parent changes you in so
many ways and most of these changes happen because you have to be
there for another life and make sure that little life has the best
possible life itself. It's something all parents need to do, those
little people we bring into the world didn't ask to be born and it's
up to us to make sure we do whats best for them and in turn we see
changes that are usually best for all of us. Pampers, a name I've
trusted since my daughter was born, believes that babies bring out
the best in all of us. That's why there's nothing each of us wouldn't
do to make life #BetterForBaby.
That baby you have might be little in
stature but they sure do pack a might wallop when it comes to
changing you. When my daughter was born the change wasn't just as
simple as turning our duo into a trio it changed how we looked at
life and how we did things for our family unit and not as
individuals. It makes you take a step back and look at your life and
you'll quickly see what needs to be done to make sure those little
people grow up to be great big people.
I read a lot as a teenager and when I got into my late teens early twenties I kind of got away from books, when I started to read books to my daughter it sparked my passion for reading again. It was something as simple as reading her Goodnight Moon and Pat the Bunny that made me realize that I really loved to read. Now our back bedroom is kind of my makeshift library and it's full of my books that I've read and that I plan on reading.

When it was just my husband and I we
would have a tendency to eat whatever we wanted whenever we wanted.
We stopped this when our daughter was born because we want to eat
right, be healthy and be there for her as she grows up and we want to
set good examples for her that she will carry with her throughout her
life.
We don't restrict her from eating candy or anything but we
taught her that everything needs to be done in moderation. From food
to video games to anything. And it turned my “me first” husband
(only child syndrome) into a more caring person, and he finally (to
an extent..) learned how to share. When our daughter asks him for a
taste or a bite of something he actually gives it to her. That is a
huge step for him..trust me!
Babies bring out the best in us, they
make us take a inventory or our lives and we quickly learn what we
need to do to make it better for all of us. It's a lot of work and a
lifetime of dedication but it's all worth it to see that little piece
of you grow up into someone that you can be proud of. Be sure to check out the wonderful Pampers Better for Baby video.
