Honey Banana Bread Pudding, made with Nature’s Harvest® Honey Wheat bread #Recipe #Giveaway

Are you looking for a way to add more whole grains in your diet? You are going to love the delicious, Nature’s Harvest® bread! Here is a little more information about this tasty better for you bread from the website:
Helping balance your family's diet with plenty of delicious, nutritious whole grains is as simple as adding their favorite Nature’s Harvest® breads to your grocery basket. You can count on at least 8 grams or more of whole grains in every serving. And no artificial flavors, colors or high-fructose corn syrup.  Whether your family has a taste for Made with Whole Grain White or Honey Wheat-or any other variety-you can be sure it's made with whole grains because it says Nature’s Harvest®

We love bread in my house. It's such an amazing and simple thing a slice of bread, it can be sweet or savory, toasted or soft and it can be used in a variety of different recipes. For the past few years we've been shying away from standard white bread since it isn't exactly the best thing for you to eat, it tastes great but there are ZERO benefits from consuming it. I had to find a better alternative, something that has great taste but is also beneficial. With a child in school and working a full time job we consume a lot of bread in my house so finding that happy medium was very important to me. That's when we discovered Nature’s Harvest®. I had finally found our happy medium.
Nature’s Harvest® is packed with 8 grams of whole grain per serving, contains no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. It's important to consume whole grains, adults should eat 48 grams daily, while children ages 4 to 13 should consume a minimum of 40 to 48 grams daily. This is what I was looking for. From bread to buns they have you covered. From whole wheat to potato, oatmeal to whole grain white there is a style and flavor to suit every need. You can still have white bread but this time it's actually good for you! We eat a lot of sandwiches in my house, they're easy and simple and can suit the needs of everyone since you can choose what you want on them, and with our hectic life sometimes I just don't feel like cooking!
This is all well and good but in the end it all comes down to the same question.....how does it taste? It tastes great! I remember as a kid having a sandwich on wheat bread wasn't all that thrilling, it tasted funny and it just wasn't that good. We've come a long way from those days! Now with a whole wheat bread that tastes fantastic and it's packed with whole grains and the importance of getting enough whole grains in your diet is something I can't stress enough, anything that tastes good and promotes a better lifestyle is great. Who doesn't want to benefit from eating right?

Bread is something we can use for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. If it's something you eat daily do yourself the favor and try Nature’s Harvest® packed you won't be disappointed.  Of course Nature’s Harvest® Bread is so great for so much more than sandwiches!  I wanted to incorporate more  whole grains, even in our desserts, I whipped up a Nature’s Harvest® Bread Honey Banana Bread Pudding! This recipe is so very easy and it comes out to be a delicious dessert. Here is the quick and easy recipe:

Honey Banana Bread Pudding
8-10 Slices of Nature’s Harvest® Honey Wheat Made with Whole Grain Bread
One Large or two small bananas
1 stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 eggs
2 cups of milk

Mix wet ingredients in a bowl, then when well mixed add cinnamon and sugar, mix well. Rip up bread and put in an oven safe dish. Coat bread with liquid mixture. Top with sliced bananas. Preheat oven to 350 degrees then bake for 1 hour.

This will be a big hit! Make sure to try this at your next family event they will be sure to love it as much as my family does. With this recipe, the bread can be stale or fresh either way the bread pudding will be delicious.  Do you have any special recipes where you like to use Nature’s Harvest® Bread?
