To me a family is a group that bring out the best in you, they believe in you, and make you a stronger person, and be the success you are meant to be. Disney's McFarland USA is a inspiring movie that shows us champions can come from anywhere! With a great family backing you can do it all, accomplish your goals and be a champion.
Like in McFarland USA, my family means the world to me, for me they are the most important things in life. They help me succeed in life, and with that I see myself as a champion. When I was a young girl I lived with my parents and my extended family, we had a home filled with my aunts uncles cousins we had a full house. Sure it was hectic at times but we were a close tight knit bunch who loved and helped each other out as much as we could. This was a great way to grow up, it made me the person I am today.
Being a working mom, I am not home as much as I would like to be and I depend on my extended familia to help with my daughter, from bringing her to school to picking her up from practice. I have an amazing family who helps me with what I need, and allows me the opportunity to work and raise my daughter. To me this makes me a champion, I have a family that supports me, a job I love and a happy life, to me I am the biggest winner and I am so blessed thanks to mi familia. 
Based on the 1987 true story, “McFarland, USA” follows novice runners from McFarland, an economically challenged town in California’s farm-rich Central Valley, as they give their all to build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner), a newcomer to their predominantly Latino high school. Coach White and the McFarland students have a lot to learn about each other but when White starts to realize the boys’ exceptional running ability, things begin to change.
Soon something beyond their physical gifts becomes apparent—the power of family relationships, their unwavering commitment to one another and their incredible work ethic. With grit and determination, the unlikely band of runners eventually overcomes the odds to forge not only a championship cross-country team but an enduring legacy as well. Along the way, Coach White realizes that his family finally found a place to call home and both he and his team achieve their own kind of American dream.

If you are looking for a family friendly movie that will inspire you to be the best you can be I would highly recommend Disney's McFarland USA. My family loved seeing these kids succeed. I have always been a fan of Kevin Costner and he was great in this movie, he worked well with the talented Latino actors they just meshed so well. The movie had laughs and some tears but overall it was inspiring. YOU can do anything with the right people, the right encouragement and the right support, with this you can accomplish anything!
