I know I've said this many times here that we love to play games, I feel it's a great way to have great family interaction and fun together and pass time without using television or technology. The other day I received a box from Winning Moves Games and it was loaded up with some really cool and interesting games to add to our rotation.

Connect 4 Twist & Turn is a really cool twist (pun intended!) on a classic game. It's still the same idea that you need to connect 4 discs to win but instead of the board being flat and stationary where you just drop a disc and move along, this game once you drop your disc you twist the tower making the game a little more challenging. We've had many a heated battle while playing classic Connect 4, I'm sure the battles will be more fierce with an added....twist.

Rubik's Speed Cube Pro Pack is another cool take on a classic game. While Connect 4 is a family oriented game the Rubik's Cube is something you can sit quietly and do yourself. I can't, I've tried and failed and failed and failed... What sets this cube apart from the rest is that you can customize the cube to your liking. 

What that means is that you can set the tension by using the included screwdriver and lubricant. You can loosen the cube to unleash your blistering Rubik's Cube solving speed demon. I've seen video's of people who can solve the puzzle quickly and I'm amazed by them...they and this cube give me something to shoot for!

Fish, Fish, Squish! Is a game we've never played before so we were all interested in seeing what it involved. The premise is simple, you have to be the last person standing with at least one unsquashed fish. Unsquashed fish? You use the included dough to mold your fish! You flip cards until you have 3 in a row, once you have 3 in a row you get the chance to squish an opponent's fish. It's simple, it's fun and it's competitive. Great game that we're glad we had the chance to play.

And finally a game I grew up playing, Guess Who? The find the face in the crowd game. Simple, right? Not so fast! This game brought me hours of fun as a kid and I'm glad to be able to share something from my childhood with my daughter. Being an 80's kid Guess Who was a popular game amongst my friends and I'm glad to see it's still as popular as ever. I love a game that we can just play and laugh and have a fun time together.
