Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Slate, check out these amazing upcoming movies for 2015

From action movies to fun cartoons, Disney has just about every type of movie coming to theaters in 2015! I have been waiting to see Cinderella and Avengers: Age of Ultron  and Tomorrowland for a good wile ever since I heard about these great sounding films. Of course who is not looking forward to Star Wars: The Force Awakens?  My husband has already taken the day off on 12/19/15, so he can see the film first! No lie! I just can’t choose one that I am looking forward to most…. I just know 2015 is going to be an amazing year for Disney. Check out the spectacular 2015 motion picture line up:

Strange Magic (Touchstone Pictures / Lucasfilm) #StrangeMagic  release date  January 23, 2015 -  “Strange Magic,” a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd., is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. McFarland, USA (Walt Disney Studios) #McFarlandUSA release date February 20, 2015 – Based on the 1987 true story, “McFarland, USA” follows novice runners from McFarland, an economically challenged town in California, as they give their all to build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner), a newcomer to their predominantly Latino high school, with whom they ultimately bond to build not only a championship cross-country team but an enduring legacy as well.

Cinderella (Walt Disney Studios) #Cinderella release date March 13, 2015 – A live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, “Cinderella” brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realized characters in a visually-dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation.

Monkey Kingdom (Disneynature) #MonkeyKingdom release date April 17, 2015 –  Set in the storied jungles of South Asia, “Monkey Kingdom” showcases the adventures of new mom Maya, a clever and resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey who’s determined to give her son a leg up in the world. 

Avengers: Age of Ultron (Marvel) #Avengers #AgeOfUltron release date May 1, 2015 – When Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow 12-10-14 and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as they battle to save the planet from destruction at the hands of the villainous Ultron.

Inside Out (Disney / Pixar) #InsideOut release date June 19, 2015 – From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. The Untitled Steven Spielberg Cold War Spy Thriller (DreamWorks Pictures) release date October 16, 2015 – Tom Hanks stars in Steven Spielberg’s untitled Cold War spy thriller, which is the true story of James Donovan, an attorney who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible mission to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

The Good Dinosaur (Disney / Pixar) #TheGoodDinosaur release date November 25, 2015 – “The Good Dinosaur” asks the generations-old question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?
