Well the holidays are here, are you ready? If there is still a last minute gift idea you need for a friend a neighbor or just for yourself everyone loves candy. Most of us usually buy the kind from the drug store and while it's alright is it something you really want to give to your special someone to show her them much you love them and appreciate what they’ve done for you? Avoid the drug store, avoid boring just there candy and chocolate.

This year give your special person something that will knock their socks off give them candy from See's Candies and make the holiday special.  I had the chance to sample some candies from See's and well this surely isn't your run of the mill candy, this is gourmet candy, candy and chocolate at its finest. We had the chance to try:   Assorted chocolate Peppermints, Assorted Molasses Chips, Truffles and the Bordeaux™ Treat .. This candy is decadent, delicious, delightful and downright good!

The Assorted chocolate Peppermints were smooth and delicious. I love that this particular box had both dark and milk giving all chocolate lovers their choice. But I have to admit each were just as delicious. Just the right punch of peppermint and chocolate gave these cool treats a delicious taste.

Assorted Molasses Chips, now I  know you are thinking… What exactly are molasses chips? Just think of them as a crunchy honeycombed wafers flavored with real molasses on the inside. This reminded me of one of my favorite classic candy bars, but an even yummier version.

Truffles, for me there is no better chocolate treat than truffles, these creamy treats are my favorite. I love that each center is creamy, and I know I will enjoy each one. The absolute best in my opinion was the Lemon, you could really taste the sweet lemon, I could have eaten so many of these. This One-pound box includes Dark Chocolate, Café Hazelnut, Lemon, Key Lime, Chocolate Chip, Raspberry and more.

Last but certainly not least was the Bordeaux™ Treat, this was unlike any treat I have ever had from See’s this large chocolate was meant to be shared. The chocolate was filled with a Brown sugar and buttercream, surrounded by milk chocolate it was amazing, the brown sugar gave the buttercream a great sweet flavor that my family and I adored.

These candies are the perfect thing to have when you want satisfy your sweet tooth.
