Planes Fire & Rescue Who’s Your Hero? Dvd #Giveaway #MiHeroeFavorito

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Disney Studios However, all opinions expressed are my own.

When you think of a super hero what comes to mind? Do you think of capes, or all of your favorite comic book hero’s? What defines a superhero for you? Do you have a favorite superhero? Sure there are many superhero’s around, some that fly some with super strength and other super abilities.  For me when I think of super hero I think of real life superhero’s.
Yes the world is full of super hero’s … real super heroes, they may not fly and have indestructibility or super strength, but they are the real heroes of the world. People who help you through your life, and make a difference in your life, people like the teachers  fire fighters, police officers, nurses and everyday folks in our communities often go unnoticed for their small heroic acts.

For me my everyday superhero is my mother, she did everything she could to take care of my brother and I growing up. My father was not a well man, so her life revolved around working all the time, and using all of her free time to take care of our familia.  With all of her health problems, she has never slowed down, she wants to make sure she is able to help us at any time. She taught us so much, and continues to teach us, how to live the right way and to become a superwoman like she is.

We are all different, but learn to love your differences, and know you are beautiful. My mother was always there to bring me up if I ever felt low, with her words or her actions. She knew the importance of self-esteem and made sure I believed in myself, and I am so thankful for this.
I now want to make sure my daughter grows up to believe in herself and is confident, in her beauty inside and out.  I am sure she learned to love herself and teach to love others from my Abuleta. For me beauty comes from the way you act the way you treat others show how beautiful you are on the inside. When you are beautiful on the inside, you radiate beauty on the outside. When I was growing up my mother always told me to hold my head up high, and believe in myself.
