I've said it before here that spending time with my family is very important to me, the years where you're all together and able to do things as a family unit aren't plentiful. Kids grow up, move away and eventually start families of their own. So it's important to me, at this time, to make sure we make as many memories as possible and enjoy this time we have before it's gone.

On of the things we like to do is play board games and eat snacks. I love to bake but sometimes I just don't have the time or the ingredients to make things so we have to raid the cupboard! One of the things we always keep on hand are Mrs. Fields Cookies .You get a couple of Mrs. Fields and some ice cream and BOOM instant deliciousness. I love to bake but I also love no fuss no muss desserts and when the cookie is as good as a Mrs. Fields you can't go wrong. 

So usually every Sunday we do something together, mostly games but as the seasons change and Christmas is creeping up on us we'll start to watch some of our favorite movies and my favorite snack to eat watching movies at home is cookies. Popcorn makes the house smell and cookies don't get stuck in your teeth! Whatever day you choose just make sure to have a good time and make sure to have some good snacks.

Mrs. Fields has just recently partnered with the USO's Every Moment Counts Campaign and came up with “Mrs. Fields Moments.” This program not only supports our Military and their families but it also encourages up to designate time every week to do something as a family. With our hectic schedules with work and school I make sure to block off time for us to do something as a unit. Movies, games, just chatting and catching up with each other. Anything that gets us together and in each others company.
