Ok I have to admit I
am a big fan of Joey Fatone. I have been a fan since his ‘N Sync days. Yes I
was a big fan of Joey! And I am just as big a fan now, it seems like Joey was
born to be a host he is just a natural! Joey is now the host of the new and
exciting tv series from the HUB Parents Just Don’t Understand. Here is a little
more information about this new series from the press release:
ORIGINAL UNSCRIPTED SERIES “PARENTS JUST
DON’T UNDERSTAND”
AUGUST 23 ON THE HUB
NETWORK Musical Superstar and TV Personality, Joey
Fatone, to Host and Executive Produce Unique Reality Series That Gives Kids and
Their Parents a Chance to Walk in Each Other’s Shoes!
The Hub Network will
premiere the unscripted, parent-child swap series “Parents Just Don’t
Understand” on Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with
musician and TV personality, Joey Fatone (‘N Sync, “Rewrapped”), as the host.
The unique reality series gives real kids and their parents a chance to find
out what it feels like to be in the other person’s shoes. Fatone also serves as
an executive producer of the series, along with Christian Sarabia, Rabih
Gholam, Bicha Gholam, Nicole M. Reed and Allegra Newman. Cindy Nemes and
Michael Wilder serve as co-executive producers. The 22-episode series will be
produced by Endemol’s 51 Minds Entertainment for the Hub Network, champions of
family fun and the only network dedicated to providing kids and their families
entertainment they can watch together.
In the premiere episode, “The Touchdown Maker and Cupcake Baker,” Fatone swaps the lives of a 13-year-old and his underappreciated mom of five children. While the son tackles taking care of his siblings and a demanding job at the railroad, his mom must power through chores and football practice. Continuing in the spirit of “Freaky Friday,” the series will also showcase other parent-child swaps including a teenage ballerina and her feisty single-mom, a roller derby devotee and her princess-loving mom, plus a single-dad who takes on his son’s rigorous athletic schedule.

I was very fortunate to be able to check out the premiere
episode, that featured “The Touchdown
Maker & Cupcake Baker” clip for the HUB network Parents Just Don’t Understand, hosted by Joey
Fatone!
I had heard a bit
about the show from Ted Biaselli, Hub Network's Vice President while interviewing
him when we check out Family Game Night on the HUB trip.
This seemed like such an exciting and
family friendly show and my family and I could not wait to watch it. Parent's Just
Don't Understand is a wife swap like show where kids swap places with their
parents just so they can better understand what each other really have to go
through in their lives. It gives both adults and kids a better understanding of
each other and will be an eye opening show.
So how would it be to become a football player as a mom, and become a cupcake baker as a kid? Hmm how is this this going to work out? Well it is pretty funny and you really get the feel of how hard parents and kids work at what they do. I will not give you any spoilers, you will have to check out this great show for yourself.
If you are looking for a fun family friendly show be sure to check out Parents Just Don’t Understand, we just may find out, do they understand? To find the channel in your area, please visit HubNetwork.com and check the channel locator at the top of the page.
