Bomb Pops, a great summer sweet treat for both kids & adults #Giveaway

Ahh summer is here! With summer, comes parties family fun and get togethers. Are you planning any fun picnics, for the 4^th of July or for graduations? Tis the season, for sun and fun.  Summer is here it’s time to break out the grill, grab some burgers and hot dogs, and head outside. For us no party is complete without Bomb Pops, a sweet treat available at your local Publix store that both kids & adults can enjoy!

I think back about growing up and what I did in the summer and one of my favorite things to snack on was and still is the Bomb Pop. Bomb Pops are a snack that instantly brings me back to being a kid and in with the 4^th of July being only a few days away there isn’t a more patriotic snack than the original Bomb Pop and their iconic red (cherry), white (lime) and blue colors (blue raspberry.) 
 

 Their shape and color in my mind and synonymous with summer and what better way to celebrate our Nation’s birthday than with a very patriotic snack.

Most of us will be going or will be hosting a barbecue and with July’s temperatures usually pushing 90 there isn’t any better way to cool off than with a Bomb Pop. Growing up we pretty much only had the tradition red, white and blue pop, but in the past 30 odd years the Bomb Pop has evolved and there are so many more choices….Hawaiian Punch, Jolly Ranchers, Tongue Splashers, Sour Wower and another personal favorite of mine Banana Fudge to name a few.

It’s hot, you want to cool down so do it with some style and a lot flavor! The perfect summer party in my opinion should have a few things: great food like ribs, burgers and hot dogs.  Sweets are also a must, quick and yummy treats like cookies, and brownies.. and of course Bomb Pops!

 

 Good music and good times like a whiffle ball game or tossing around a Frisbee or if you’re lucky enough splashing around in a pool. And there is no finer way to top it all off than to have a Bomb Pop sweet and cold is the best way for a nice cool down to the end of a hot summer party.
