 I have to admit I have never previously stayed in a vacation home. I have been a hotel kind of gal, for all of my life… Well I take that back, I stayed in a rented home as a child while visiting the Jersey Shore. With those homes you had to bring your own sheets, towels, plates, silverware etc etc… Our cars were filled with home essentials, and it was just no fun. I felt like a chambermaid setting up the house each year. So I guess I assumed that vacation homes would be the same as renting a home like we did in Jersey. Well I was so wrong! They are completely different night and day different. I have been missing out on some great luxurious amazing FL accommodations.

With these vacation homes there is plenty of room for the family to spread out and relax, and have a vacation! The homes we were very fortunate to stay in were provided by Villa Direct and Global Resort Homes. Each were fully furnished, yes there were sheets and amazingly soft comforters on the beds! Now this is what I am taking about. The bathrooms, were stocked with soft fluffy towels and toiletries. It was like staying in a five star hotel.

Our first home was with Villa Direct, this was a lovely 7 bedroom home that was great for a family like mine. We are a small family, so the size would be a great match for us.  I loved the look of the kitchen, it was my dream kitchen, large and well equipped. Our next amazing home was with Global Resort Homes a nine bedroom house with all of the amenities you could need. I loved the idea of having our own room and bathroom. Gone are the days of cramming into a hotel room and sharing the small  bathroom!

One of the options Global Resort Homes offers is the chance to hire, Chef Linda Page. Who is Chef Linda? Chef Linda has been providing  great service as Personal Chef in the Orlando Area for the last 15 years. Wouldn’t it be great to come in from the airport and have dinner ready for you? Imagine coming in and smelling the intoxicating scents of Linda’s cooking and sitting down as a family and enjoying a real meal to start your vacation.

No more running to fast food, or ordering pizza on the first night just because it is easier. Chef Linda picks up the groceries for the meal, and fully prepares the meal in your vacation home from start to finish, she even clean up and does the dishes so you just relax and enjoy your vacation. Would you like breakfast for the next morning? Chef Linda also offers a easy to heat up breakfast for an additional fee.  We were treated to Chef Linda’s chicken and steak kabobs, make fresh from the grill, a citrus salad baked potato with all the fixings and for secret cookies and brownies a great summer meal.  The food was delicious, and Chef Linda was a doll! So personable, and professional.

The Global Resort Home, was large and lovely the furnishings were fun and really made me feel at home (a cleaner and bigger home mind you…) Check out a peak of what this home had to offer:

  One of the homes we were able to check out was the All Star Vacation Homes   and oh my, this was an amazing home! It was like being in a mansion, a mega deluxe home that would be the ultimate treat for a larger family. Would you like to stay in a home with a home theater complete with stadium seating? A deluxe pool, with an outdoor  sound system and an amazing pool? Take a look at this amazing home:

We were able to check this house out in style, enjoying a welcome party for the Rock Your Vacation winners. Remember the video contest to win a rock your vacation Kissimmee trip? 

Well this was the welcome party by PoshAble Events at All Star Vacation Homes was  for those special winners. The food was amazing and plentiful. 

They even had a red carpet, and a place to take pictures like a celebrity to make the event even more special.  Riding up in a limo from Southern Elegance Limousines , made me feel even more like a celebrity. Transportation throughout the trip was provided by Southern Elegance Limousines, I could get used to the white glove service, much better than my home transportation that is for sure.

Overall seeing the great vacation home options that are available in Kissimmee, there will be no more hotel stays for me! I have seen the light, and all of the greatness that is a vacation home. A vacation home is a must for families, and would be great for friends vacations as well.  The prices vary, but on average the vacation homes are more affordable and more luxurious that any hotel you may stay at. Overall I would highly suggest checking out a Kissimmee vacation home, you will be close to all of the popular attractions and you will have  the space you need to really enjoy and relax on your vacation. If you want to cook you can, if not, just enjoy the great bedrooms, the game room and the pool.
