 The snow is finally gone and the spring is here, ahhh... That means warmer weather is coming and before I know it summer will be here, and I would just love to go off to a tropical paradise and relax! This may not be possible this year, but I am still in a tropical mood and Rio 2 could not have come out at a better time. My daughter and I loved the original Rio, it was an adorable tale of Blu and Jewel, with lush tropical surroundings. Rio 2 looks like it will be just as great, with the same wonderful cast as the original, I am sure this will be a hit.

Blu and Jewel are back for an all new adventure in Rio 2! The entire cast of the animated smash RIO returns in RIO 2, and they are joined by a new flock of top actors and musical talents. Rich with grandeur, character, color and music, RIO 2 finds Jewel (Anne Hathaway), Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) and their three kids leaving their domesticated life in that magical city for a journey to the Amazon. They encounter a menagerie of characters who are born to be wild, voiced by Oscar nominee Andy Garcia, Oscar/Emmy/Tony-winner Rita Moreno, Grammy winner Bruno Mars, and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth.

Starring the voices of Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Will i am, Jemaine Clement, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Mann, George Lopez, Rodrigo Santoro, Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno, Natalie Morales, Kristin Chenoweth, and Jamie Foxx.

Rio 2 also has a hot soundtrack to go along with the movie, with some big names in the music industry, that will keep you singing along.

The soundtrack seems awesome, with some great talent, the voice talent is amazing as well, and for what I have seen in the preview clips this is going to be a cute and funny movie the whole family will love!
