Disney’s The Pirate Fairy is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on 4/1/14! #Giveaway

Being huge Disney fans we were very excited to see another Tinkerbelle adventure. When my daughter saw this dvd she was so excited, and she was a bit confused… Knowing the movie was not out until 4/1/14 she asked why we had it? When did my daughter become a movie aficionado? None the less she was very excited to see the new movie. We have been seeing toys and costumes for this movie for a while now and now that she can see the story on dvd she was bursting with excitement.

 From the world of “Peter Pan” comes “The Pirate Fairy,” a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook himself. With laughter, heart, magic and thrills, “The Pirate Fairy” sets sail April 1, 2014.

  I knew this was the kind of movie my daughter would just love, I was very fortunate to be able to view this very movie on the Disney Toon studios, on site theater (the same theater that the Disney folks would screen the movie) this was an amazing day, a once in a lifetime theater experience, watching this fun fairy movie.

 The Pirate Fairy introduces a wonderful new character named Zarina, the pirate fairy! Not really a spoiler, after the reviews and previews you can see that this fun new character is also a pirate.  I loved the color and look of the scenes at sea, they really brought you to the moment and made a great looking movie. Such a fun story, and a great message.  There is also another character the kids are going to love, Crocky! An adorable baby crocodile, that will make you say awww, he steals every scene he is in. … So will Zarina, be a good pirate or a bag pirate? Why is she a pirate anyway? Well I am not going to spoil, the movie you will have to pick up the fun filled adventurous movie for your family. I am sure you all will love it I know my daughter and I did.

 

I wonder if you will be able to meet Zarina  in the Disney Parks? Of course the next question out of my daughter mouth was when are we going back to Disney World? Well we will be visiting in May,   I hope Zarina will be meeting when we go, my daughter would love to meet her.  We shall see? 

 

But back to the movie… I would recommend this great movie for any Disney fan, especially little girls from 5-12 my daughter just loved it and wanted to watch it again and again.  This film would make a Easter Basket stuffer, for any special l girl on your holiday gift list this year, make sure to pick up a copy.
