Are you a fan of the Pound Puppies? Well you will be excited to hear that there is a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration the HUB has planned. On Monday, March 17 (2–5:30 p.m. ET/11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. PT), the Hub Network will be airing a Lucky’s Good Luck St. Patrick’s Day Marathon. The marathon will consist of seven episodes of the Hub Network’s beloved series “Pound Puppies.”
The “pup-ular” half-hour animated series follows a gang of heartwarming animal shelter dogs dedicated to finding loving homes for their fellow pets. Led by the cool and clever Lucky, the Pound Puppies include no-nonsense Boxer Cookie, sensitive sheep dog Niblet, astute Dachshund Strudel, and street-smart Chihuahua Squirt. Their motto: “A pup for every person and a person for every pup!” These seemingly average dogs keep the humans running Shelter 17 in the dark while they help “dog-kind” find loving families. “Pound Puppies” received a 2012 HUMANITAS Prize for excellence in writing for children’s television animation.
My daughter is looking forward to this great marathon, and I am sure this will be a lot of fun for me too. Growing up I loved my Pound Puppy, and watching this fun show brings me back to the fun days at home with my brother and my friends. If you are a Pound Puppies fan be sure to hang out with the HUB tomorrow, for this Lucky Marathon.
Stay tuned to the HUB, Monday, March 17 (2–5:30 p.m. ET/11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. PT), Lucky’s Good Luck St. Patrick’s Day Marathon

My children always loved Pound Puppies. I have a few of the toys from a while back. They are adorable. What a super marathon.
