With the deadline to get healthcare extended there are still many people out there shopping for affordable healthcare, something we find out while shopping for affordable healthcare is that is still isn't all that affordable especially if you have a family. We need to make sure we're well read and educated and need to pick a plan that is best for us and our situation.
A place we should all look at is HSACenter.com . What HSA Center is a Health Saving Account or HSA. What is that exactly? It's a tax favored saving account for the purpose of paying medical expenses.
HSA works with insurance that has high deductibles and from
what we've seen (my husband just got done shopping for insurance through the
government's site) is that the bulk of plans have extremely high and scary
deductibles. The best thing about the HSA is that your money is tax deductible,
tax free, able to be deferred and the money is yours to keep. It doesn't
disappear at the end of the year it continues to grow tax deferred. The only
things you need to qualify for an HSA are that you're covered by a high
deductible health insurance plan; not covered under other heath insurance; not
enrolled in Medicare and you can't be any other persons dependent.
There are a lot more things that I could get into but it's
best that you visit the HSA Center website it will explain it all there. But
from a basic standpoint this is a great idea. A savings plan for high
deductibles that will help you not only cover those deductibles but also help
you lower your yearly taxes! Depending on how much you invest in the HSA for
example you make $50,000 a year and you invest $3,000 into the HSA well you're
only on the hook for paying taxes on $47,000. Again visit HSA Center for more
information, but if you're like the millions of people out there with insurance
that has crazy high deductibles an HSA might just be what you're looking for. Be sure to visit HSACenter.com for more information.
Are you in need of information about saving on your healthcare insurance? Do you think HSA could help you?

That's definitely something I need to look into. I admit I don't know a lot about it.
My sister was just shopping for coverage over the weekend. I'll have to share this with her.
I'll have to share this with my husband because his deduction went up to a ridiculous amount. Thanks for the info.
We don't have a HSA, but we use an FSA. I'm going to look into an HSA, it looks like a nice option.
My siblings have been looking into health insurances so I'm going to show them this resource. Thanks!
