Adventure Aquarium Frogs: Nature's Messenger NOW THROUGH APRIL 27 #Giveaway

Are you looking for a great place to visit with the kids in Philadelphia area? If you are driving into the city for a day trip, or if you live in the city you will love visiting The Adventure Aquarium a great place for adults and kids. Here is a little more information about this great aquarium from the website:
Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, you can count on new hands-on activities, new animals and exhibits and unforgettable moments of magic with biologists. Adventure Aquarium is open 365 days a year from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Like its sister aquarium, the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY, Adventure Aquarium is an accredited member of the American Zoological and Aquarium Association. Admission is $24.95 for adults and $18.95 for children ages 2-12. Visit www.AdventureAquarium.com and let the Adventure begin!

I am always looking for fun things to do as a family in the city, and I am sure some of you are as well. Have you been to The Adventure Aquarium, in Camden NJ recently? Well this aquarium has changed to much for the better. The Adventure Aquarium is a place I have visited a few times in the past, while it was a good aquarium is was just ok.. But now, there are so many more amazing exhibits, and it even seems larger, keep up the good work, I love the changes.
There are so many more exhibits, and hands on fun. You can touch a live shark, sting rays, star fish and much more. I am a huge fan of Aquariums and I have visited quite a few from state to state, there is just something about the calm peacefulness of the fish that I just love.

My daughter was a bit apprehensive about touching a shark, but she really wanted to touch something… So she asked if we both could touch a starfish together, and she loved it! She giggled and squealed with delight, she was really having a wonderful time. And isn’t this what it is all about, you are only a kid once, enjoy your children and have fun with them.

The new frog exhibit was amazing, we had a great time. My daughter loved spotting the many different frogs and I tried to take a picture of each of them.  From tadpoles to frogs, they had all kinds!
My daughter just adored the strawberry frog because it was little and cute, but it is dangerous too… You could even play the famous frog game Frogger, and become a frog for a bit and try to get across the street.

Here is a little more information about the Frogs exhibit, from the website:

Frogs: Nature's Messenger NOW THROUGH APRIL 27 - Small yet mighty. Masters of the art of disguise. More vibrantly colored than a box of crayons. FROGS are hopping their way into Adventure Aquarium! More than 20 exotic amphibian species from around the world will converge at Adventure Aquarium for a limited-engagement exhibit this winter. Frogs: Nature’s Messenger provides Adventure Aquarium guests the chance to come face-to-face with frogs of all types, sizes and vivid colors.
Spot frogs from tiny to enormous and freakish to fantastic, from the beautiful Red-Eyed Tree frog to the tiny but memorable Golden Poison Dart frog - considered the most poisonous of all living creatures. You’ll meet other members of the amphibian family too, including the massive Cane toad and the huge African bullfrog, which is the size of a dinner plate and can eat a mouse whole!

Meanwhile, fun and interactive activities provide engaging and educational opportunities for guests, who will learn more about the evolution, biology, natural habitats and unique characteristics of their favorite amphibian friends. Play the classic arcade game Frogger with friends, get up close and personal with a frog during an on-the-floor encounter, visit the Frog Sound Interactive or participate in one of our Frog Talks to learn more about this fascinating species. And don't miss Tadpole Gallery, a collection of colorful, hand-painted frogs crafted by students at 19 elementary schools in the Camden City School District.

We had a wonderful time, and I love that the whole experience was educational but still fun. The aquarium has so many thing for a variety of ages. I would highly recommend The Adventure Aquarium, it is a great way to spend the day. The prices are reasonable, $24.95  for adults and $18 for children. An affordable fun time in the city, you and your children will love it.

This awesome attraction is just what Camden needs more of, to transform it into a safer, less financially repressed area. Support local businesses like Adventure Aquarium!

My kids love the hippos and "touching" the rays (by which I mean leaving your hand in until they get close and then pulling out to giggle and twitch like crazy!)
