Making cookies at the Ronald McDonald House, family fun and delicious treats with McCafé White Chocolate Mocha #Giveaway

  This past Sunday my family and I were invited to a nice event held at  the Ronald McDonald House in Delaware. We were treated with some McDonald's food, and a tour of the facility. Most important we were there to have a fun family time and decorate cookies for the kids who have to spend their holidays at the Ronald McDonald House.

Some local bloggers and their families and mine came together to decorate and prepare some great cookies for these great kids.

We were all able to be one of the first to try out the new McCafé White Chocolate Mocha drink. The White Chocolate Mocha is a brand new addition to the McCafé line, and is available for a limited time this holiday season. The new McCafé White Chocolate Mocha is a blend of freshly brewed espresso with white chocolate flavor and steamed milk topped with whipped cream.  

 You may not be aware that McDonald’s uses 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified™ espresso in all of the McCafé lattes. These are freshly brewed and made to order. So no your coffee is not from a machine, and it is not full of preservatives, just great coffee you will love.  The McCafé White Chocolate Mocha is made-to-order and available with whole or non-fat milk and with or without whipped cream.

We tried this yummy McCafé White Chocolate Mocha, topped with whipped cream, why not? The cream was a great addition to this sweet treat. We loved this new drink it was sweet, and really reminded me of the holidays. My husband is not a coffee drinker, he rarely dinks it, but gave the new McCafé White Chocolate Mocha a try and he really liked it. 

So that is saying something, when a non-coffee drinker likes it, the drink is a pretty good drink.  Additionally, the favorite of last year is returning, the  McCafé Peppermint Mocha incorporates espresso made with 100% Arabica beans mixed with steamed whole or nonfat milk, rich chocolate syrup and peppermint flavor, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. Both of these new drinks are available for a limited time this holiday.

Ronald McDonald also came to visit the bloggers and the kids that were staying at The Ronald McDonald House, he did tricks and joked with the kids, they had a great time.  

 I would like to thank McDonalds for all they do for the community and having a great place like The Ronald McDonald House. Did you know that when a family needs to stay at the Ronald McDonald House they are asked to give a donation to the Ronald McDonald House.. and they can give whatever they can. No one is ever turned away for not being able to afford their services. That is a great thing, thank you McDonalds for showing us the real meaning of the season.
