About 15 years ago my boyfriend (now husband) was on a mission to get me the popular toy that Christmas a Furby. Fast forward 15 years and here I sit with a daughter and she's been playing with a Furby! Some toys are just fads and fizzle away but the Fuby has endured and evolved over the past decade in to the Furby Boom this isn't your mother's Furby anymore!

 

The Furby was and still is a very cool interactive pet that has the ability to interact, play and actually learn new things. It's not a toy that loses its flavor within a few minutes this is a toy that has staying power as evidence that it's been around as long as it has been. The difference between my Furby and my daughter's Furby Boom is that when I received my Furby that's all I got....a Furby.

I was able to play with him and he learned some things and I had a fun time playing with him but what I didn't have back then was an iPad. The iPad makes a very cool interactive toy that much cooler. 

With the Furby Boom app you can feed, clean and make sure your Furby uses the potty. You read that right your Furby has to use the bathroom. Along with all those features you can also hatch little Furblings from eggs you collect. My daughter is bonkers over her Furby and I'm a little jealous to be honest. I loved my Furby but this Furby is so colorful and the even the box it comes in is totally cool. And the app and the Furblings make this toy so hard to walk away from.

 The more Furblings you hatch and fill your city up with helps you achieve the golden egg. So you have a toy and you have objectives to fulfill to get something cooler and it doesn't get old or boring. I'm amazed that the toy I was playing around with 15 years ago has evolved and kept up with the times and is now entertaining my child.
