Now I know that we’ve only just waved goodbye to Halloween,
and we haven’t even had Christmas yet, but I have already started thinking
about my 2014 summer vacation. There’s a few destinations in the mix at the moment, but Paris seems to be a
frontrunner. I am fairly flexible on dates when it comes to traveling, so
hopefully I’ll be able to bag a one-off bargain in the New Year. When it comes
to airlines, I’m not really bothered about who I fly with either.
When I was
getting ideas online, American Airlines seemed to have some of the cheapest available flights to France. I also noticed
that they now offer online check-in – simply input your details on the website,
and they will email you your boarding pass. I really like the idea of this as I
HATE queuing at the check-in desk – I just want to get to Disneyland already!
If I do end up going with American Airlines, I’ll need to invest in a new
printer. My current model spends most of the time jammed and without ink, so
I’m seriously looking to upgrade it.
United Carlton have
a great selection of professional printers, like this one, that will ensure my boarding passes are actually readable! Obviously, when
I land in France I will be looking to experience a slice of authentic French
culture. I’ll be visiting the Eiffel Tower for definite, although I’m not sure
I’ll be brave enough to climb to the top - I’ll stick to snapping the photos
from the bottom. I can’t wait to try the French cuisine. I love croissants,
so I’m excited to see how the French do it – they are the masters after all. I
think I’ll be giving the snails a miss though, although I won’t be saying
no to a glass of wine or two!
Of course, while I’m in the area it would be rude not to pop
by Disneyland Paris .
I can’t wait to see what magical shows they have for 2014!
