  Growing up with a little brother in the 80’s you bet I was surrounded with Transformers. Be it the toys, or watching the cartoons on a daily basis.  My husband also grew up loving the Transformers. My daughter, is just starting her transformers collection, thanks for my husband.

Yes my little girl loves Transformers. So when we had the chance to check out the newest TRANSFORMERS CONSTRUCT-BOTS my husband could not wait to share this with our daughter. These new figures feature popular Autobots and Decepticons with cool new looks and new weapons.  He loved Transformers as a kid, and is so happy they are just as popular as ever.  I was very fortunate to be able to check out one TRANSFORMERS CONSTRUCT-BOTS SCOUT Action Figure Set and one TRANSFORMERS CONSTRUCT-BOTS ELITE Action Figure Set.\ 

Our Take:

My husband is a child of the 80's, Star Wars, GI Joe, He-Man and the Trans-Formers. These are words when mentioned in his presence he gets this look of nostalgia in his eye and will tell you story after story about some show or toy about said subject for what seems to be hours. He's slowly turning our daughter into a mini version of himself, she's being taught to love all things her Daddy loves and she loves playing with him and his toys.

  So when I was sent a set of TRANSFORMERS CONSTRUCT-BOTS I thought both their heads would explode! Transformers, have to be one of the coolest things ever, transforming from a car to a robot? What little (or big) kid would not like this? But now Transformers are even better than ever, now you can make your own creation! You can use your imagination and come up with an amazing Transformer that is all your own, you can even name your creation then show it off to your friends.

My husband spread out the pieces on our kitchen table and he proceeded with the help of our daughter to the Transformer together. They took turns snapping the pieces on and within an hour they were done. It was cute watching them put it together, he wants a girl who will “make some guy very lucky someday” and he's teaching her well. They came out with a really cool figure, what do you think of this:

 With the holidays right around the corner, these toys would make great gifts or stocking stuffers.  My daughter and my husband had a great time getting this together, and my daughter had a blast playing with it after he was built. This was a well-made toy that will stand the test of time, I would expect nothing less from Hasbro. 

The cost of these new Transformers ranges from $10.00 - $17.00 so they are affordable, and will be hours and hours worth of fun. Especially since you can make another robot, then change it and make another again and again. There is just so much play value in these great sets.
