Holiday Gift Guide: Hershey's Holiday Collection candy collection, a must for the holidays #Giveaway

We are big Hershey fans, well how can we not? Being from Pennsylvania, Hershey is a staple here. Yes I have been lucky enough to visit Hershey PA, we get to go every year a chocolate lovers dream. Chocolate Town USA is a great place to visit, you can smell the chocolate in the air, it is true and it  is magnificent. 

For my money chocolate doesn’t get any better than Hershey’s and once you pair it with Reese’s peanut butter you have the perfect candy ever invented. Whopper’s, Twizzlers, Reese’s, Kit-Kat and the classic Hersey’s bars my candy collection is candy nirvana. I was very fortunate to try out some of Hershey's new holiday goodies:

 Along with great candy Hershey had a great website up this year  Celebrate with Hershey’s , the site is filled with decoration idea, party ideas, recipes and more! Here are some of my favorites:

 

 Here is an amazing looking recipe that I will have to make for my family:

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/3 cup plus 1/4 cup sugar, divided
• 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
• 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
• 3 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
• 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
• 1-2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips, melted
• 4 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup HERSHEY'S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate
• CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE (recipe follows)

 Directions:

• Heat oven to 300°F. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, cocoa and butter in medium bowl. Press mixture onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
• Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then melted peanut butter chips until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in small chocolate chips. Pour over crust.
• Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until center is set. Remove from oven to cooling rack. With knife, loosen cake from side of pan. Cool completely; remove side of pan. Garnish with CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE. Refrigerate until chilled. Cover; refrigerate leftover cheesecake. 12 servings.
• CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE: Place 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate and 1 tablespoon shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil) in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 30 seconds; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 20 seconds or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.

 I would love to make this for the holidays, it looks divine!

Our Take:

I loved the Celebrate with Hershey’s site, and I came up with so many great ideas for our holiday party this year. Hershey’s is the best chocolate ever in my opinion, and we have always loved using the specially marked holiday pack for stocking stuffers. There is nothing like getting a great Hershey’s chocolate item (or two) in your stocking Christmas morning… Opening it up right away and tasting the wonderful candy, sure it may be 8am, but it is Christmas so it is ok. Right?  Hershey has a great variety of items for the holidays, so all of the candy lovers are covered, a peanut butter fan,  or a mint fan there is something wonderful you can stuff in the stocking from Hershey.

Are you a chocolate fan?  Well I know I have so many big chocolate fans on my holiday gift this year, a chocolate gift is always the way to go for me. Wouldn’t they love the new Hershey candy cane candy bar, a new item that my husband just loves. A holiday classic is the Reese’s peanut butter cup trees, these are wonderful, large and decadent.  

One thing I never knew was that Bubbly Yum was a Hershey made product, well I have always loved Bubble Yum. And now Hershey has a special holiday filled tube of Bubble Yum, these delicious bubble gum balls are just as good as I remember. It is sweet and a great gum, a great stocking stuffer that is for sure.  There are also some great new shaped Twizzlers, they are shaped like little trees they are adorable, and taste great too.

My husband and my daughter are chocoholics,  they love a Hershey chocolate holiday bars in their stocking, I know I sure would. This Hershey chocolate bells would also make great gifts for teachers, neighbors and whoever loves chocolate.  These treats are wonderful, make sure to pick some up for the holidays, they will look great in a stocking or in your candy dish for your holiday party.
