Our Take-
My daughter is growing up so fast, I cannot
believe that she is already eight years old, in the third grade and reading up a
storm… What happened to my little baby, it is amazing how fast time flies! We
were very fortunate to be able to check out the latest issue of the American
Girl magazine nov/dec 2013 issue, with this issue they are
celebrating their amazing holiday issue. I
was excited to check it out (yes I am just a kid at heart) with my daughter. My
daughter just loved flipping through the magazine,(she did more than flip
though.. she read the entire magazine!) There were so very many things she
loved in the magazine.
She loved the various activities. And I loved that this magazine
was age appropriate, it was filled with great info and things tweens like my
daughter will love. The magazine helps boost self-esteem for these young
ladies, you are special and we know it. It encourages the kids to be
imaginative and creative. My daughter just loves art and this magazines crafts
speak to her, and she can’t wait to try them. This is not a one and done
magazine, after my daughter read through the magazine she picked it up over and
over to check it out again and again.
We loved the how to make your own unique holiday chocolate using ice trays! We can not wait to make the peppermint, and "hot chocolate" chocolate bites. These cocoa cubes would make great gift ideas, a great way to get my daughter into the holiday spirit by making her own gifts for her family and friends.
Another article my daughter loved was the canine cuties posters. Of course she has been asking for a dog for a little while now, and this thought the dogs were adorable, and could not wait to decorate her room with these cute pictures. With may birthdays and holiday occasions around the corner, this would be a
great gift for that special girl on your gift list. She will love the crafts
and great ideas this magazine provides. That special someone will just love it.
And you can visit this site, to purchase this great magazine for young girls.
My daughter has asked for a subscription, and I just may surprise her with a subscription, I know she will love it and I
will too.
