I was very fortunate to be able to try out a variety of pies
from Wholly Wholesome including a blueberry pie, pumpkin pie, and apple pie.
Did you know that October is National Dessert Month?
National Dessert Month? Hmm I cannot say I have ever heard of this but I am all
for it, a month that celebrates desserts? I love it, sign me up! What a great
way to celebrate National Dessert Month, than check out some new desserts (well
new to us). Wholly Wholesome has wonderful gluten-free and vegan desserts, we
were so very excited to be able to try out a few of their pie selections. For
me pies are one of my favorite sweet treats there are so many different pies
and fruit and sweet crusts always works for me.
The other day we tried the
Wholly Wholesome Blueberry pie, we had a little get together, and made sure
there were lots of friends and family there to enjoy National Dessert Month.
The pie was very easy to make, simply follow package
directions and your pie will be finished cooking in about 45 minutes. I
frequently have issues when cooking frozen pies, I usually undercook them, but
I had no issues with this Wholly Wholesome Blueberry pie. The pie came out lightly browned, and looked
amazing. One of the best parts was the amazing smell that filled the house, a
sweet fresh blueberry smell.
Overall I was very impressed with
the quality of Wholly Wholesome pies, each of the pies were filled with fruit.
The apple pie, was packed with tart and sweet apples, with just the right
amount of cinnamon to tie the pie together. And my favorite pie of all time had
to be the pumpkin pie. I adore anything pumpkin, from coffee to sweets my
favorite being the classic pumpkin pie, and Wholly Wholesome pumpkin pie was
rich, well spiced and delicious.
Wholly Wholesome set out to make a new standard for frozen
desserts no longer will taste like cardboard. Wholly Wholesome treats are made
with love and care, made for you to enjoy and come back to and enjoy again and
again. So if you are looking for gluten-free
and vegan desserts that are really desserts they are decadent and scrumptious.
A real treat that you and your family will love make sure to pick up some great
