What motivates you to be healthy or get fit?

I have always struggled with weight ever since I was a little girl, I was always that chubby girl that never seemed to be able to lose weight.   I am at a point in my life where I have to learn to eat healthy, and drop some weight. I  am also a snacker and I know this will be the tough part to overcome in general.  I have been a bit of a yo-yo dieter all of my life on again and off again. I know this is not the healthiest way to live. There has to be something better out there? My family motivates me to get healthier, for them and myself. There are some options out there. Well there is surgery…  A tummy tuck was something I was always thinking of doing. It would help my clothes fit better and I think I would look nicer. The thing I am scared of most is scarring, I have quite a few scars already from various accidents and the like. And adding more scars to that list… ugh that scares me.  No that is not for me, I am more of a Natural weightloss  kind of girl, with getting healthy and losing weight this is something I can do on my own. I have tried a few Weight loss programs and some have worked for me. But what is would the most for me is exercising. 


There are few things in life I hate more than exercising but I can tell you one thing, I’m not a good runner, walker or anything like that. Before exercising for me was hunting around my living room looking for the remote for the TV. But not anymore. Lucky for me I recently found a gym that’s just down the street from my office that has a ton of elipticals and stuff so I’ve been going on my lunch break so I don’t have to use any personal time.  There’s nothing that makes me want to work out but the fact that I get to leave work  behind for an hour at a time sure doesn’t hurt things! I need to start watching my diet too but for now I just feel  good getting to the gym 4 or 5 days a week. It’s a big enough struggle just saying that so I think I’m going to take things one step at a time!
