After getting to ride Star Tours I
headed over to the Sci-Fi for lunch, this place gets a bad wrap as
far as food goes, the ambiance is top notch and is one of the best
themed restaurants on property, but the one thing I hear from most
people is the food is less than stellar. We've eaten here a few times
and I've never had an issue with the food, I really don't get the
dislike of the food. It's much better than people give it credit for.
They were turning people away left and right because they didn't have
reservations and were not able to get a seat. People need to do
homework and know what's going on before they head to WDW, there is
no excuse for not knowing what to do there are far too many resources
on line to let you know what's going on and what you can do to make
your trip better.
After lunch I meandered around the park a little more and headed back to the Pop to pass out, after 12 hours plus in the Studio's I needed a rest! I passed out watching hockey, I don't remember much.....I was watching hockey and the next thing I know it's 6 something in the morning!
A solid 9 hours of sleep recharged my batteries and I was headed back to the Studio's for more Star Wars fun. I had planned Saturday for doing the Star Wars themed shows that I was not able to do in past trips and knew most of my day would be devoted to waiting in lines but before my second great line adventure of the weekend I did manage to squeeze a couple of spins on Toy Story Midway Mania and a few flights on Star Tours. And I managed to get my picture taken with Darth Vader (I got to act like Vader was choking me, that was the popular pose for pictures with the Dark Lord). I also got my pic taken with Mace Windu and Shaak Ti who were questioning the odd markings on my arms (tattoo's) and were questioning if I was a bounty hunter since I have a tattoo of Boba Fett on my right arm, it was fun interacting with the characters trying to explain why I have the tattoo's I have to people who are acting like they don't know what a tattoo is.

This sounds like fun! My husband would definitely want to go to this because he has been in love with Star Wars for many years.
My husband loves Star Wars. I bet he would really dig this. And I love Toy Story! Win Win!

What an awesome thing to see!! I would totally love to go here!! I love Wizard of Oz stuff.
Thanks for sharing. I definitely agree...Do you homework before heading to WDW. Enjoyed the pics!! Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorites! :)
I have always wanted to take my boys to see the Star Wars stuff at Disney. It looks so fun, I know they would love all there is to do.
Sounds like a FUN trip to Disney! It definitely plays to do your homework before you spend a day at the park, though! I'm horrible at planning those kinds of things ahead. :)
I can understand if you've never been there that you may not realize reservations would be necessary, but if you've been there once you'll never forget! I actually like that SciFi restaurant too!
It sounds like a fun trip, and yes reservations are a must for most Disney dining.
Sounds like a fun trip and I agree, those reservations are important if you want to eat at Disney.
