McDonald’s and Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. – the 2014 RMHC Scholarship Program!
Now through January 21, 2014, high school seniors in the Greater
Philadelphia Region have the chance to apply for one of our unique local
scholarships.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of the Philadelphia
Region with the support of the McDonald’s® Owner/Operators of the Greater
Philadelphia Region are seeking qualified applicants from the Greater
Philadelphia Region to apply for one of four scholarships:

RMHC®/African American Future Achievers for students with at least one
parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage
·
RMHC®/Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources (HACER®) for
students with at least one parent of Hispanic or Latino heritage
· RMHC®/Asian
Students Increasing Achievement (ASIA) for students with at least one parent of
Asian-Pacific heritage In 2014, RMHC will award fifty-five (55) scholarships,
totaling more than $80,000, to local high school seniors who demonstrate
academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, financial need and
plan on attending a two- or four-year college during the next academic
year.
Do you know a student who fits this description? Encourage current high school seniors to apply online now
through January 21. All college-bound
high school seniors who meet the eligibility requirements in Southeastern
Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Kent and New Castle Counties in Delaware
are encouraged to apply and will be asked to submit a high school transcript, a
letter of recommendation and a personal statement detailing their background
