I’ve had a lot of jewelry in my life but never a silver locket, I’ve always wanted a locket necklace but growing up I didn’t have anything to put in one. Now that I’m married and a mom I have those things in my life that I want to commemorate. I want something to remember how much my daughter means to me, and thanks to Pictures on Gold. I have something that will remind me always.

I snapped a picture of my daughter, uploaded to their site and I added the words, “I love you” to the left side of the locket that was it. It was very quick and easy, to go to the site and Build Your Own Locket. A few days later I received my locket and I was blown away, it’s beautiful. This is so lovely that my daughter keeps asking if it’s for her, and I have to keep telling her it’s mine and she lectures me on sharing. Don’t you hate when kids turn the tables on you?

Back to my locket, the picture of my daughter is really crisp and detailed very well for such a small picture I was amazed at how well it looks. It’s one of those things that I will always cherish, it’s one of those things that I will be able to look at years from now and remember that moment in time.  The locket I received was a quality item, the picture was so crisp and looks great. The engraving of the words is also very nicely done. 

 I love the locket, and would recommend getting one for your self, this would make a great gift as well.  I have known others with lockets who had a cut up picture inside, there is no comparison. This etched picture is so much better than a crudely cut up photo that will fade after time. But not my beautiful locket. With the build your own locket you also have the option to purchase a chain to go with your locket, I picked a cool squared chain, that works great with the silver, and I can wear my locket proudly. Would you buy a custom piece of jewelry online if you didn’t know what it was going to look like? Hmm, that is something to think of, I would much rather see what I am ordering so I know that I like it before it even arrives.
