Udi's Gluten Free products, delicious and gluten free!

Do you have to have a gluten free lifestyle? Are you sad that you have to give up bread and other snacks like cookies? Well not anymore there are some great options that are gluten free from Udi’s.  I would love to introduce you all to a great gluten free company Udi’s Gluten Free. They have an amazing amount of items that are gluten free, a great variety you and your family will love! Here is a little information about Udi’s from the website:

Udi’s Gluten Free Foods, the #1 gluten free baked goods brand, revolutionized the category when it introduced the first gluten-free bread that tastes and looks like “real” bread.    Udi's products contain no artificial ingredients, no GMOs and very few preservatives. Udi's Gluten Free Foods, we think everyone should be able to eat a sandwich on hearty and delicious bread or indulge in a cheesy slice of pizza even if you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease. Our philosophy is making gluten-free delicious.

I must admit I played a trick on my husband; I gave him a cookie and didn’t tell him it was gluten free he gobbled it up and said it was good. I did it again later with the vanilla muffins, I did it because I wanted his honest opinion, I didn’t want him to prejudge anything because of the words gluten free. It’s not as bad anymore; everyone deserves to be able to eat tasty food no matter what allergy you suffer from, it’s bad enough you have an allergy why should you be forced to eat tasteless food as well?

It used to be not that long ago that when you say the words “gluten free” it also meant taste free, my husband was fond of saying gluten means flavor. That was then this is now, I received an assortment of goodies from Udi’s Gluten free and even though their products are gluten free they are not taste free. In fact they are very yummy!  Udi’s does a wonderful  job of making what was a once bland option into something that is tasty and safe for those who aren’t gluten tolerant. My of a husband wiped out almost the entire pack of muffins by himself, he said there is only one problem with it……there’s no more left! If you’re one of the many people with a food allergy give Udi’s Gluten Free a shot, not only are they gluten free but also dairy and nut free. If you’re allergic to something don’t worry they don’t make anything with it!
My family and I were very fortunate to be able to try an assortment of NEW products from Udi’s Gluten Free Foods, including:
Udi’s Ancient Grains Chips – Sea Salt – Chips we all love them, well what is not to love they are crunchy and salty and really help with your cravings. But when you are trying to eat an gluten free lifestyle not all chips are there for you to enjoy… But Udi’s is there for you!  They have new chips that are gluten free and taste just wonderful. The sea salt flavor had a nice tast of salt, not too little or too much. This was one of my favorite new products from Udi’s.

Udi’s Ancient Grains Chips – Aged Cheddar, for me there is nothing better than a cheese I would eat it all the time if my waistline let me! So being able to try a cheddar flavored chip was great. I loved the right and bold cheddar flavor, it really worked well with the grains and the crunch was there and the taste was wonderful.

Udi’s Soft and Chewy dark chocolate brownie bites– now are you looking for some divine dark chocolate… dark and delicious, this will help your chocolate craving! They looked like little cupcakes, but tasted like moist chocolate brownies these were a hit in my house.
Udi’s Soft Baked Cookies – Maple Pecan Chocolate Chip this was the cookie that fooled my husband, he just did not believe it was gluten free. Well Bobby it is!  Well he described the cooked as delicious, I think he liked them. I loved these soft maple tasting cookies , the chocolate and pecans were a nice touch with the maple, thy were so soft and fresh, the cookie was very good.

Udi’s Soft Baked Cookies – Salted Carmel Cashew these were my daughters favorite, soft cookies are the best she said. She said she liked them better than my  homemade cashew cookies.. well at least she is honest. I have to admit they are better than my cookies, the salt works so well with the sweet caramel, it made all the difference and these are gluten free, that is almost unbelievable!

Udi’s Granola Bars – Chocolate Chip, for me granola bars are like my candy bars. Granola bars are a great treat and snack, I get the chocolate sweetness I am craving but not the calories of a chocolate bar. So I was excited to be able to try Udi’s new Granola bars. I packed a bar in my purse and enjoyed it as a snack at my desk. The bar was soft, and had just the right amount of chocolate. I will surely be packing some of these bars for our trip to Disney World in October, they will be great for a quick snack on the plane, or wherever you get hungry.

Udi’s Granola Bars – Cranberry Almond. I have never tried a cranberry almond granola bar before, I was more of a chocolate chip or peanut butter chip granola bar kind of gal. But I have been missing out! Cranberry and almonds, are so sweet and wonderful together in a granola bar. My daughter was a huge fan of these bars as well. As my daughter gets older she had become a more picky eater, and seems to dislike so many things these days but she loved these bars. I am sure she would like me to pack her some for snack, when school starts in a few weeks. I will have to pick up a few more boxes.

Udi’s White Sandwich Bread- We love sandwiches, I love a good turkey and cheese sandwich, with a little mustard there is nothing better. My daughter just loves god old peanut butter and jelly, strawberry or grape she loves it all. These Udi   white bread sandwiches were flavorful just delicious. I have tried gluten free bread before, and they were very dry, but not Udi’s. It is so nice to have sandwiches again, such a great thing.

Udi’s Cinnamon Raisin Bread – What is better in the morning, than a hot cup of coffee and a warm toasted piece of raisin bread… for me that is the best way to wake up in the morning. I have given up my raisin bread for many years, and I never realized how much I missed my old morning routine until I got to try this new  raisin bread. This reminded me of the bread I had homemade as a child, it was full of raisins and had a tasty cinnamon swirl. Eat alone, or with butter or jelly it is delish!

Udi’s Gluten Free – Double Vanilla Muffins – now are you looking for some sweet vanilla…, well this is what you have been looking for my friend the Double Vanilla  muffins were amazing! The muffins were large, and flavorful these were a hit in my house. And these are gluten free, that is almost unbelievable!
Udi’s Harvest Crunch Muffins- Now these were very unique muffins, they reminded me of a special flavor you would see at a coffee shop that would make you stop in just to try it. The muffins combined cranberries, nuts and harvest spices. They had a great fall flavor, that I love rich and a little bit of spice. My daughter loved the sweetness and tartness of the cranberries.
Udi’s Gluten Free – Vanilla Granola this was a great granola that had a nice vanilla flavor. A gluten free granola? I did not even know something like this existed? I just love granola, and I did not know how much I missed this great snack. The Udi’s granola is great to have as a cereal for breakfast, or you can eat right out of the bag for a nice snack. The bag is resealable too, so it is great for travel a quick snack in the car.

Udi’s  Blueberry Cashew Granola – The sweetness of the blueberries and the crunchy cashew nuts are a great combination. I loved this with milk as a cereal, and just plain out of the bag. I packed some for our trip to Baltimore, and it was nice snacking on during the drive.
Over 3 million American have a gluten intolerance. And it is great to know that there is a great tasting company out there that offers wonderful items that are all Gluten Free!  So if you are gluten free or know someone who is make sure to check out Udi’s Gluten Free Products, you will find great tasting gluten free items from pizza crust to cookies you will fill all of your gluten free needs and wants Udi’s Gluten Free has the food you love, and miss!

Udi's is my favorite bread, the best out there. I'm very excited to try the soft-baked cookies, most GF cookies are hard :(
