Tyrrells English Chips, unique and delicious #Giveaway

We’re Tyrrells of Tyrrells Court Farm and we make fine English chips from local Herefordshire potatoes. We cook them by hand in small batches and we always leave the skin on. We reckon they’re rather special, but then we would, wouldn’t we? By far the best strategy is for you to grab a bag, dig in and see if you agree. As the eagle-eyed among you will no doubt have noticed, we’re English. Our farm’s in a lovely little place called Leominster in the county of Herefordshire. It’s a handsome part of the world, with its rolling hills and winding roads. Best of all its rich, red soil makes for stonkingly good potatoes.  Like all the finest whiskies, our chips are made the old fashioned way: by hand, in small batches. Sounds a bit fancy pants, but all we really do is take some top-notch potatoes, slice them up, give them a bit of a sizzle in a big frying pan and then a shake in one of our natural seasonings.

Potato chips are all the same right? Wrong. I had the chance to try Tyrrells English Chips  http://www.tyrrellschips.com chips recently and was floored by the taste. These are kettle chips that are bursting in flavor. We just love crunchy chips in my family and Tyrrells English Chips  does not disappoint. The great tasting chips have a wonderful crunch.  My family was very fortunate to be able to try a sampling of Tyrrells English Chips  , and they loved them. We were able to try each of the current flavors:

We cook our proper English chips by hand in small batches here on our farm in Herefordshire. And we always leave the jackets on. Well it’s only polite.

Just hearing about the unique flavors had ne intrigued. Sure I love plain chips like everyone does, but I do like to try new things and new chip flavors are right up my alley.  Well how were these great sounding flavors? Were they as good as they sounds? Well let’s start with the:  
Sweet Chili & Red Pepper,  now I know what you may be thinking these chips sound spicy! Well they had a nice little kick, nothing too spicy just enough for a great flavor, my daughter loved these saying they reminded her of the spicy chicken dish at a local restaurant that she loves.

Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper,  these were like a traditional chip, but kicked up a notch. The pepper was a great addition to the chip, salt and pepper, there are no better toppers then them.

Beetroot, Parsnip & Carrot Chips with a pinch of Sea Salt, these chips were made from real veggies and tastes wonderful. I loved giving my daughter a better for her chips that are from veggies she may not have tried prior to the chips. Over all these chips were tasty, and crispy we loved them.

Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar,  my husband is a huge salt and vinegar chip fan and loved these. I usually shy away from salt and vinegar chips, they are just too tart for me, but the Tyrells chips were more mild, and I enjoyed them.

 

Mature Cheddar & Chives,  mature cheddar hmm interesting with these chips you could certinatly tell a difference with the cheese there was a rich more bold taste that went well with the chive flavor.

Worcestershire Sauce & Sundried Tomato the flavor that was the clear winner in my house was the Worcestershire Sauce & Sundried Tomato chips.  A unique combination that worked so well together just the right flavor and spice this was the first bag to go, it was gone before I knew it, we will have to pick up another bag soon.

 These are all were some wickedly good kettle chips, that were flavorful and crunchy just a like a potato chip is meant to be. I hate weak tasting chips, the Tyrrells English Chips  are the kind of chips that once you’re done the bag you’ll find yourself licking your fingers wishing you had more chips. If you like good kettle chips Tyrrells English Chips  are the chips for you! I would highly suggest stepping ouside of the plain old chips and try something new, these chips are different but not wild I am sure you will love them, my family sure did.
