Summer is not over yet enjoy MAGNUM Gold Klondike and more frozen novelty favorites.

 Warm weather is here and with it comes plenty of occasions to cool-off and enjoy the newest line-up of frozen treats from Fruttare, MAGNUM Ice Cream, Popsicle, Breyers, Good Humor, and Klondike. Fruttare, a refreshing and delicious fruit bar made with real chunks of fruit. We were very fortunate to be able to check out some of the great new treats from Unilever.  Below find the frozen scoop on the newest treats from Unilever.

A new frozen fruit bar that is synonymous with a positive outlook on life, just hit shelves for the first time in the U.S. The new Fruttare product line includes two types of frozen fruit bars: Fruttare Fruit and Milk Bars – the first nationally available line of its kind – and Fruttare Fruit and Juice Bars. The delicious Fruttare Fruit and Milk Bars, which are made with real fruit and creamy milk, are available in Strawberry and Milk, Coconut and Milk, Banana and Milk and Peach and Milk varieties, and the refreshing Fruttare Fruit and Juice Bars are available in Strawberry, Mango, Lime and Orange varieties. 

My family and I were able to check out the coconut bars, and we were very impressed. The bars were smooth, and sweet a nice coconut flavor. The bars had just the right amount of coconut, not over done at all (I have had coconut bars in the past that were overly filled with coconut and stringy) they were refreshing and delicious. Great for snacking on my the pool in the summer heat.

 

 MAGNUM ice cream, the most luxurious ice cream bar, is debuting MAGNUM Gold?! and MAGNUM Mini Double Caramel. MAGNUM Gold?!, the world’s first golden ice cream bar and a uniquely indulgent treat that is truly as good as gold. Featuring silky vanilla bean ice cream swirled with sea salt caramel and dipped in a golden coating made with Belgian milk chocolate, these treats are sure to unlock life’s greatest pleasures.

 We were able to try the MAGNUM gold bars. These bars were unlike any bars we have ever had in the past. They were chocolate, but they had a unique taste, a sweeter taste. My husband just loved these decedent bars. These bars are large, and are a great treat for any chocolate ice pop lovers.

Breyers Blasts!, the line known for featuring delicious mix-ins from families’ best-loved candy and cookie brands, is expanding its offerings to include seven new Breyers Blasts! Flavors such as Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints and M&M’S. In addition, there are two new limited-edition seasonal flavors and a new Lactose Free variety. The M&M blast was filled with M&M’s and rich chocolate ice cream. We served this ice cream at a play date with my daughter and her friends. The kids loved the mixture of the M&M’s and the ice cream. I loved that they did not skimp on the candy, there were plenty of M&M’s in the ice cream. This is something we would love to get again. But first we will have to try the Strawberry Shortcake, it is a limited edition and will not be around for long, so that will be the next ice cream we get that’s for sure.

Good Humor is also taking a twist on its classic ice cream bars with the introduction of the new Good Humor Birthday Cake bar, featuring vanilla cake flavored ice cream surrounded by light vanilla ice cream and coated with cake crunch. The birthday cake bar, was amazing. It really tasted like a slice of birthday cake with ice cream. What is better than enjoying a sweet birthday cake, well enjoying the cake with ice cream of course. Bring some birthday joy in your house at any time of the year with the new Good Humor Birthday Cake bar kids and big kids will love it!

Klondike brings plenty of nostalgia and variety to every man’s freezer with 11 varieties of classic stickless ice cream bars, 4 delicious flavors of ice cream sandwiches, and Choco Taco treats.  I have loved Klondike stickless ice cream bars ever since I was a little girl. 

This is a treat that really brings me back to being a kid. Back in those days there was one ice cream flavor for the Klondike bars… vanilla…. Now there are so many great flavors, there is a flavor for everyone! I was able to try a new flavor (well new to me..) Chocolate covered pretzel. The ice cream is a sweet and salty caramel, and the chocolate covering has a nice pretzel mix. Being from Philadelphia you know we loved the pretzels! The sweet and salty mixture was tasty, and these bars did not last long in my house.
