Lucky Leaf Pie Filling Summer Recipes #Giveaway #LuckyLeafLuckyMe #Recipe

Summer is almost here and you know what that means! Well it means plenty of events to attend this summer. There will be graduations, July 4th celebrations, birthdays and more.  Oh those events will be here before you know it, and what are you going to be bringing to those events? Well how about bringing a great pie, or cake? Or even better, a jared treat? Something made with love? I would recommend something from Lucky leafs new summer recipes.

I was a busy little baker this weekend. We had a few friends over and I figured it was a great time to try out some new recipes.  I wanted to try some of the great summer recipes.

I tried out the delicious No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake Trifles

Here's what you'll need:

1 frozen pound cake (10.75 ounce), thawed slightly and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 recipe graham cracker streusel (see below)
1 recipe no-bake lemon cheesecake (see below)

Graham cracker streusel:

9 cinnamon graham crackers, crushed to crumbs in a food processor
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
Generous pinch of salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

No-bake lemon cheesecake filling:

24 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 1/2 cup Lucky Leaf Premium Lemon Pie Filling

To make the graham cracker streusel, toss all ingredients in a medium bowl until the butter is evenly distributed.

To make the cheesecake mixture, beat together cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Gently fold in the frozen whipped topping and pie filling until evenly combined.

Layer the graham cracker streusel, lemon cheesecake mixture, and pound cake cubes in a medium mason jar until filled. Repeat with remaining jars.

This jarred treat was very easy to make, it literally took only a few minutes, then I was ready to make the individual jars that would go to each guest.  You can pick up these handy jars at your local supermarket. They make great gifts, if you are going to a party this summer, wouldn't they just love a sweet treat?

Here is a tip, just because the recipe seems simple does not mean it does not taste like it took hours to make.  These simple quick recipes are great for busy mothers like me, who want to give their best but only have a short time to do it! So if you are looking for something great to bake, or even great No-Bake items make sure to check out all the recipes on the Lucky Leaf site.
