Our family loves to play games together, and we just love different
and fun games. I want to introduce you to a great game company Gamewright, if
you are looking for a different and unique board game or card game Gamewright
games are for you and your family. Here is a little more information about
Gamewright games from the website:
Gamewright was founded
in 1994 by four parents whose kids wanted great games. From the start, our
mission has remained clear: Create the highest quality family games with
outstanding play-value. Guided by themes and experiences that transcend age and
salted with a bit of irreverence, our games are designed to foster laughter,
learning, friendship and fun. Over the years our family has grown to over 70
games, 200 awards, and countless happy players. The thousands of letters we
receive from kids, parents, grandparents, and teachers tell us our hearts are
in the right place.
We were fortunate enough to be able to review one of
Gamewright’s newest games. A great new card game, Monster Café. My
daughter was so excited, that she would have the chance to review this games, I
have to admit I was excited as well, well the game did look like fun to play.
When the game arrived, may daughter asked if we could play it right away. This is a game that is great for her age
level, and I was sure that she would like this game.
The Monster Café game:
How to play
Make a reservation for ewww at the Monster Café! Play
cards to seat hungry monsters around tables filled with such revolting
refreshments as Roasted Roadkill, Boiled Brains, and Stinky Sock Stew. But be
careful as these monsters are extremely picky eaters. Feed them what they
fancy or else they may take a bite out of your score! Oh, and whatever you
do, avoid the lemon sorbet!

About the game
We’ve never eaten at the Monster Café, but we imagine a
diner’s review might go something like this: “Gross has never tasted so good”
at this popular new “dive for demons” where patrons drool over the latest
innovations in “queasy cuisine.” While some say the menu can be “press your
luck” and is “only for those with an iron stomach”, the “fresh-off-the-floor”
ingredients and “elegantly wretched” atmosphere combine for a culinary
experience that literally “scares off the competition.”

And boy was I right. This card game was a blast to play
together. This is a game of fantasy and imagination. My daughter is a
great reader, but there is no reading required in this game so my daughter can
even play this game with my 6 year old niece with no problems at all. The game did not last long, about 15 minutes
and of course when the game ended my daughter wanted us to play again.
Sure why not I thought it was fun too. The monsters in the game were funny and not scary. My daughter loved the food, and the monsters, she just really had a good time playing this game. With the gift giving occasions around the corner, remember games always make great gifts. The Gamewright site is full of great game options for ages 3 and up to ages 10 and up. There are great games for girls and boys, and wonderful family games too.
