I have been a fan of Nicholas Sparks for many many years, from his first novel, The Notebook to present day classics like Safe Haven. Luckily my girlfriends also enjoy him as an author as well. The other night a few girlfriends and I got together for a girls night. We has plenty of chips, drinks and of course chocolate! (what is a girls night without chocolate?) We got together to check out the great new dvd “Safe Haven”. We are all Nicholas Sparks fans, so we were excited to see how the movie held up compared to the book…. We all read the book, and loved it. I have to admit Safe Haven is one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books, so the movie had a lot to live up to. Well this movie did not disappoint! Have you ever had a secret that you just could not tell anyone, well you will relate to the main characters in this movie. I loved the acting and Josh Duhamal, and Juilanne Hough did, they fit the rolls well. If you have the Bluray version make sure to check out the alternative ending, for me I think that that ending was better than the films ending… My friends and I loved the movie adaption of this great book and I am sure you will too.
